It's almost certainly a bad humidity sensor or "gas sensor" as they also call it.
There may be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the
control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is
very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.
This is usually caused by a shorted hood thermostat or a shorted triac on the control panel circuit board.
The hood thermostat is usually located on the floor of the microwave chassis behind the control panel. It should read "open" or "infinity" on a continuity or multimeter resistance test.
At our site, we now have a video available showing how to remove a typical control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.
If the hood thermostat is bad, You can order Samsung parts here.
If you think the problem is on the control panel, we repair these nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in most cases.

hi the se flashing indicates a fault with the your membrane switch [touch control/ touch pad. disconnect power for about 20 min and then reconect .it should reset if not replace with original part .ihope it works cheers
If it's within the magnetron portion of the warranty (usually 5-9 years) but out of the original full warranty (usually 1 year), then your manufacturer will cover the part cost, but not the cost to visit you or the labor charge to do the work.
If it's within the one-year time frame, the repairs should be free.

Chances are the thermal cutout / thermal fuse or thermostat on or above the magnetron has failed.
Hopefully it did its job and protected the magnetron from destructive overheating...

you have to replace the heating element for that old microwave. its already been 3 years. sometimes this do happens because of the use and this is the solution.
That may be it. In some cases you can clean them, but if it has become brittle, it may snap. But it's worth a try.
First of all, I'd try a cold reset by unplugging the oven for afew minutes then trying again. If that doesn't clear the error, it's probably the thermistor.
The oven would have to be removed from the wall so the outer wrapper can be removed, then you can remove the sensor and attempt to clean it.A gentle scraping with the toothpick might work, or gently soaking it in hot water. Just be sure it's dry when reinstalled.
If needed, you should be able to order a new thermistor here: http://www.samsungparts.com/search/search.asp
