sami...most of these units use a spring on the inside of the micro to hold the filter frame in place. Push back on the filter against the spring and then tilt it out.
1. the coupler between the plate and motor (usually brown or white in colour) is damaged.2. The turntable motor gears is damaged and needs to be replaced.
Maybe Just Lucky; I removed the front cover above the door by removing the two screws on top of micro. Then I removed the screw above the controll panel and carefully lifted off the panel. I checked all wire connections while plugged in and the SE code changed to 0. I reset the clock and put the panels back on.Done Loose Wire
follow the next steps and fix it. use the VOM . God bless you
1. No power to outlet (overload or fault in microwave or other appliance).
2. Blown main fuse - likely due to other problems.
3. Open thermal protector or thermal fuse.
4. Defective controller or its power supply.
5. Clock needs to be set before other functions will operate (some models).
I am not sure what you mean by boiling water under it all day. If it was under the unit, it probably shorted it out and it won't work. If you were using it constantly to boil water, you may have overheated it. To be safe, please unplug it and call the manufacturer.
The service manual for that model is here.It may be a bad limit switch / detector switch in the louver circuit or there may be a bad cam in the louver. There's a
YouTube
video available showing how to remove a typical over the range grille (and if necessary) control panel
assembly in under 5 minutes. Some additional info on disassembling louvered models:
There are two Phillips head screws on the very top of the outside of the cabinet above the vent. When they're removed, slide the hood vent grille to the left about 1/4", then then pull it forward.(There are three L-shaped clips that fit into a slot to hold bottom of the vent)Then remove one screw (which holds the control panel in place) near the top of the control panel.Once that screw is removed the panel tilts out so you can disconnect the wires and then slip it out.Be sure to mark and/or photograph your wires so that each one gets back exactly where it was after the repair.Reassembly is accomplished by sliding the L-shaped keepers in place, then sliding the vent grill to the right and pushing it into place.
