PIN restore Gigaset 4010/4015 base
If the PIN code forgotten your Siemens Gigaset 4010 / 4015 base (Classic / Comfort / Micro) then follow these steps to create the reset:

* Take the power cord out
* Press the button and on the bottom of the base and hold
* Insert the adapter into the outlet, hold the base button
* Wait 30 seconds, keep the button pressed
* Wait 10 more seconds and remove the adpter from the outlet
* Put the adapter back in

The unit is now reset and the PIN code is 0000.

I have exact same problem. Let me know if you find an answer.
No dial tone. I can call out and reach number (though no sound) so connections are there but just no sound.
For incoming calls, phone rings, pick it up, no sound.
Any solutions??

Hi, First of all you have to change the Dialing mode, DTMF or Pulse, according PABX type, ask to technicians! Second step is to set up the Flash Time from 80 to 800 ms, again in dependency of your PABX Operating Instructions. Cheers and good Luck.

1st step check in supply units - 110/230V AC to 9.5V AC adapter for base station.dd 2nd step check in ringer volume (ring tone) if the rank is zero (0) ringer is off and afterward change to wish-able ringer volume 1-5.

Have you subscribed to " caller I.D. "? If not, this could be the problem. Call your phone company to find out.

Please do the following in order:

1. Test the socket using a corded phone.
2. Test the phone on a different socket and line.
3. If problem is not given by line or socket, replace the phone cable.
4. If still no luck, then the problem depends on the phone. Try the following reset:
   
   
   
   • Disconnect all power adapter cables from wall sockets.
   • Remove all handsets from cradles.
   • Remove all battery from cradles.
   • Fit back the batteries in their handsets.
   • Place back handsets in their cradles.
   • Connect power cables.
     
     
   The procedure above will reset the system and will re-sync handset (or handsets) to cradle. I wrote at plural because the phone system may have more than one cradle/handset.
   If that does not work, then the phone is defective.In that case you will need to replace/repair the faulty handset or the whole system. Usually the handset is defective and will result always in use as it sends wrong signal to the cradle, in some case the cradle is responsible.

If all the above did not help, call Siemens and ask inquiry about repair conditions.

No dial tone for me either. Don't have the flashing problem though. just no dial tone. Tried everything. Let me know if anything worked for you.
