ink overflow --inside the printing drum there's a small circuit with two pin ( like needles)....there is one shorter than the other, they are very thin... you have to clean them with a small swab and alcohol, be very carefull, don't bend them....hope this be usefull to you :)

P04-513 is an ink overflow error.the easiest way to fix it is to run the drum dry.here is how:1. turn the machine off by the power swith.2. hold the left and right print position buttons and turn on the machine.3. when the machine starts it will show you some numbers.. perss either the clear or yellow reset button to show 00004. now enter 81 and press start and the machine will make a master.5. once the machine is done press the clear or yellow clear button to return to 00006. next make suer you have plenty of paper and enter 888 and press start.. the machine will start making copies of the test pattern. (if it jams a lot you may want to use speed 1 or go to step 4 and use code 80 instead)once the copies start coming out light you can press the stop button and when the machine stops turn it off and back on normally.

This is for master drawer not responding to green light to be released question. Try turning ON machine (turn off first) while holding down the reset button. Also a mechanical way is a small hole to insert a pencil, eraser end first, just below green latch area. Just insert hold in while squeezing release latch. to drawer.

Just had the same thing happen. The ink cartridge was not completely in the lock position. Once I remove the ink, reinserted it and locked it, everything was back to normal.

by pressing print position keys Plus 15 & minus 15 at a time with one hand and by using other hand machine power on, and release both keys u will in test mode

Check if there is dust or if the output is holding paper sheets to pass. It may be that some of the gear output paper is loosely screw on the shaft causing the problem. Also check the registration sensor inside the machine and clean it. I hope I helped you.

Chances are good the clutch does need to be replaced. These are magnetic and while they can be cleaned, eventually they will fail and parts are no longer generally available. As well if you pull the clutch to clean it you have to be VERY careful to mark everything and lock the gears into place. Retiming these old guys if they lose timing is something I'm successful at about 2 out 3 times. Most of them are pretty worn out and nothing wants to quite line back up right once you lose it.

Its possible that the ink drum has not correctly installed. Check your RZ390 Owners Manual for this subject and the troubleshooting and error codes for solve.

Sometimes, the label on the ink cartridge oulet surface has come off or surface is with dirt, this problem appear.
