Hi, It is unfortunate that the computer just has a black screen. Request you to try following the below steps which might help:

(1)Turn off the computer. (2)Remove all the external peripherals like AC Adaptor, flash drives, battery, etc. (3)Press and hold the power button for 30sec which releases the static on the computer (if any) (4)Put back the battery and plug in the AC Adaptor. (5)Let the computer charge for some time. (6)Try turning on the computer. If the computer doesn't turn on then check if the computer gives any series of beeps or if there are any diagnostics LEDs being displayed on the computer? If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware and software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware/software, disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing your computer, press F8 to slct Advanced Startup options, and then select safe mode

it could be a memory (RAM) problem. Many Dell's have a Diagnostic partition on the Hard Drive, accessed by F12 at initial boot up. If yours has this, run a complete diagnostic and see if there are any errors.

Try to reboot in safe mode using "last working configuration" and do an evaluation and see what comes up
