i expect that some of the digit in that particular cellphone is not working. if you want to clean your key pad then you need to open it. removed the battery cover, the battery, back cover, untill you see the 6 screws that holds the front cover. Removing the screw will automatically remove the front cover and will show you the key pad. if you want to check the digit which is not working then you fix the battery and holding it firmly press the power On button. assuming that you already know what digit is not working then you can proceed by removing the plastic cover of the keypad and by using pencil eraser you can clean it.. from 0 - 9....

There are reasons why your phones keypad is not working, first, have you tried re aligning your keypad if it fits exactly on the button, also, you may try pressing the keys without the keypad tofind out if the problem is just on the keypad or on the phones hardware already. Also, the keypads functionality may affect if it had a water spill or had dropped previuosly.

Nokia 5130 is an old phone and haven't got a bluetooth, it only has IrDa (infrared).

follow the menu numbers in upper right part in english, upper left in arabic. to go to language settings to english go to Settings#7, then Phone#11, then laguage setting #1, then Phone Laguage#1, then choose the language pack #1 is usually automatic that why maybe it chose arabic depending on your region. English is usually #2.

please follow these steps to formatt your mobile phone(nokia 5130)
CODE 1: --->>*#7370#

CODE 2: --->>
STEP: 1. Switch off your Nokia Mobile,
STEP: 2. Press------> Call button, press-> 3, press------> *
STEP: 3. Now Switch on your Mobile

Wait for few seconds until a ‘formatting’ word appeared on the mobile screen and then release the buttons.

when you do formatting you will lose all your details.please make a back up and then do formatting

Did you forget your security code ? .Then try to unlock your mobile with default security code "0000" or "1234" .If it doesn't work means get the Master reset code for Nokia 5130 mobile from the site Unlock-free.com . Initially try after restoring the setting of mobile to factory default and format the memory card .

Then try by reformat of the phone by pressing *#7370#
and also try hard reset by following the procedure below

Turn off your phone, hold the following buttons while pressing the power button. (the default code is 12345)
Hold the following buttons *, 3 (number button) and talk/green key. turn on the phone and do not release those buttons until you see the Nokia boot up screen. once you feel the phone power up you can let go off the power button while still holding all three button

If the problem is not solved try updating the firmware of the mobile or flash the new firmware from the service centre

1) Turn off your Nokia 5130-c2 phone

2) Remove your SIM CARD and your MEMORY CARD

3) Hide your SIM CARD and your MEMORY CARD in a safe place!

4) Turn on your phone while pressing: Ke(3) + Green call button + *

5) Your Nokia 5130-c2 is now formatting, please wait for a while...

6) When done, reinsert back your SIM CARD and yor MEMORY CARD in to your phone

7) There you go! your code is now set to (12345)
