I have a replacement keypad but don't know how to get the existing keypad out. Can it be pried out without doing anything else, or does the phone need to be disassembled?

i want to totally format my n79 ... like thay i would love ti delete each and everything qand format and install a brand new software with the software updater .... but the nokia software updater dosent do it .... it just gets back ... plzz help me !!!
*#7370# should format and delete all data from your phone. But I do not understand the reason that Nokia Software updater does not update your software. Please give specific error it gives you.

i have forget my lock code of nokia n79 how could i change it nw
please visit to service center if in warrenty and ask them to fix it...or reinstall the software of phone from nokia.com

An alternate method for wiping the N79:
Go here:
Menu >> Settings >> General >> Factory settings
and follow instructions.

hOW TO DELETE A CHARACTER IN THE TEXT MESSAGE
you press the c key, its hidden as its not the colours buttons potuding from the keypad, press the actual facia that has the c printed on it, WHAT A STUPID DESIGN!

i cant seem to remove the predictive text from mt text messages.
While writing a message, go to
Option > Predictive Text > Set the Predictive Text to Off.
Or simply
Go to Menu > Tools > Settings > Language > Predictive Text (set it to off)
