to open front camera follow these instructions:-

the latest for your phone is either v30....or v31.....

also go to messaging app, select options , settings - other here is where you would allocate memory and amount of messages to be saved. if you dont have it on memory card maybe you should consider changing it to memory card and see if it makes any difference for you.
