I have opened that up (just the grey plastic tube and grill on bottom) and cleaned it up but then it will return a bit later. I may need to look at getting the pump change but for now this interim fix seems to work

I’d start with water valve.

Check you house fuse box, it may have blown..or the outlet became bad..

Your owners manual should show how. If you don’t have it, I’m sure it can be downloaded from Siemens website

Heater element shorted or drain pump failure.?

Pull the washer out of the cabinet and it is easy to access from there.

Sounds like no water going into the machine. If you have already checked the stop tap and the hose isnt kinked, then you probably need a new solenoid

(E:01 to E:30) A technical fault has probably occurred. Switch off appliances with the ON/OFF switch 1I. After a minute restart the appliance or 2l unplug for 1 minute restart.

Be sure to run the hot water at the tap for 3 min before running your dishwasher. Water coming into the tub must be at least 125 degrees for the unit to run correctly and wash.
