Bostitch N80SB won't reset after firing

Most likely just needs piston oring. Remove nails from the gun and point nose of gun up then down again. If the piston travels up and down in the cylinder, replace the oring. The piston returns to top with air pressure and needs good snug piston oring and good lower bumper (if bumper is cracked or missing pieces ~ replace ). Be sure to lube the orings in the headvalve with silicone paste or white grease. Part # ORK11 oring kit will reseal the gun. Good luck with your repair.

How do i adjust the nail depth on my bostitch n80 sb

The part of the gun that touches the work surface and acts as the safety so the gun won't fire unless pressed down on something is two peices bolted together. If you losten the nuts the bottom part will slide up and down. If you make the tip longer, the nail will be left higher (proud) in the workpeice. If you make the tip shorter the nail will be set deeper (counter sunk) into the workpeice.

My N59FN has a new trigger *** and o rings still leaking form bottom it fires but will not nail.

Did you replace the complete trigger valve? Is that where it is leaking from? If it leaks from the nose or bottom of the gun that is likely one of three o-rings that seal it to the nose. Items 11, 13, and 27 on this parts diagram. If it leaks a lot of air from the head then that is either head valve o-rings or the cylinder seal (item 9).N59FN parts diagram

Large red pressure adjustment knob on my compressor is broken and will not screw on, compressor will not hold pressure

You may have to replace the regulator as many of them do not sell just the knob. If you go to this link and put your model number in the search box you will be able to see what is available for it. By the way, Stanley (Bostitch) merged with DeWalt so all the breakdowns for Bostitch can be found on the same site now.DeWalt/Bostitch parts and owners manuals.

I just put a repair kit in my sx150 stapler and it fires put will not recoil i think im missing a spring in the bottom of the piston cylinder?

The Bostitch SX150 pneumatic brad nailer/stapler uses air to both drive the brad or staple and to return the driver/piston assembly to the top of the gun for the next firing. There is no spring that goes into the sleeve or under the piston. If your driver is not returning to the top of the gun you may have put an o-ring or seal in the wrong place or left one out. The o-rings and check seal on the bottom half of the driver sleeve are what control the air that returns the piston to the top so check those first.

Bostich coil framing nailer will not advance the

Bad or dry feed piston o-ring or a loose feed piston as they are held on by a metric allen screw that will sometimes back out. Use blue Locktite when reinstalling the screw. It could also be the feed spring but they rarely fail on the larger framing nailer.

I have to change the belt on a Cap 60p air compressor

No, you don't have to remove the crankshaft with the large wheel. Just make sure the compressor is unplugged and you use only hand pressure on the crankshaft to turn it while you work the belt into place. If you try to put the belt partially on and turn on the motor you'll damage your new belt. Make sure it's centered on the motor pulley before powering it up.
