Hitachi NR90GR Cordless Round Head Gas Framing Nailer Questions & Answers
Fan is constantly
I deal with more paslodes but think Its the same concept... Theres a button/switch on the trigger and back cap... the back cap one turns on the fan when the tool is depressed and the trigger one fires the spark to ignite the gas.Seems like the one on the back cap at the rear of the cylinder is stuck on.... or theres a problem with the circuit board
I have a hitachi nr90gr...
Check the spark plug for debris:
This manual: Item 11 left side of the page.

Also make sure the spark plug wire is connected. You have all the indications that you shuold be able to fire... just no fire. That only leaves the spark plug item 11 and the wiring to the spark plug as suspected problem areas. Try removing the spark plug and testing it by grounding it to the chassis and pulling the trigger in a firing configuration. You may have gotten something in the plug during repairs or damaged the spark plug. You said you fixed a bad wire... given you have no spark is the repaired wired chaffing where you taped it and exposed and are of the spark plug wire to chassis ground? (

1 month old gun,
Hi,
Check for power to the fan... it should be 12vdc or whatever battery you have there...
either the wires did not get hooked up or soldered right or the short blew the board or a fuse somewhere...

Can I use paslode nails
probably as long as they are the same nail BUT nailers are often very finnicky, probably by design, to encourage users to buy brand nails. would recommend NOT mixing brands with nailers and nails, from personal experience.
Hitachi Framing Gun Not Firing - Bad Battery?
Does the fan run and the light blink ont he nailer? I have one that I just bought. I put in the wrong type of nails and got one stuck. I had to take the front apart to clear it and now the damm thing wont fire. The green light blinks and the gas cartridge is basically full, even the fan does run after I release the push lever, but no fire???
I wonder if yours is the same as mine did fire for a couple nails first just fine then got jammed...
I will try to charge the battery more.... MAybe like yours it needs a strong charge for the spark...
