There is not an adjustment on the parking brake. The problem you are having may be caused by the drive belt stretching.

Its not a hard job just push in clutch and lock it, remove mower belt then replace drive belt and then put mower belt back on and release clutch.

If your engine stops and then the carburetor floods, your needle and seat is not closing correctly. This can be caused by dirt or varnish being caught in the needle and seat. A good clean with some carburetor cleaner will remove any dirt or varnish buildup from the carburetor. Then while you have it apart give the float a shake to see if it has a leak. If there is any liquid in the float you will need to replace it.

If you are talking about the spark plug, I would need the model number of the engine.

There is no way to check the level without removing the trans. These transmissions are sealed for life.Was there a leak? If there were no leaks, don't worry about the level. If there was a leak you should have a qualified tech check the fluid level.
