Sounds like you need a tune up. Check or replace spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, carberator, and idle linkages.

Does it even hum? If not, unplug it and remove the cover. Check around inside for fuses or loose connections. If all seems well, plug it back in and carefully test to see if power is coming to and through the switch.

The transformer has an overtempature switch the shuts the welder down when its duty cycle is exceeded. After it cools, the switch will close and the welder will run again. However, you are not supposed to use the welder until waiting an additional cooling off period as specified in you manual(~10 min.).Also you are not suppose to weld beyond the duty cycle or damage could result. Especially if done on a continuous basis.

To get parts for your welder you'll need to have the serial number off the tag on the case. This problem could have other causes, have you:
Checked the tension on the wire spool? You ought to be able to pull the wire by hand easily.
Checked the tension setting on the pinch rollers? Too much tension can drag down the motor speed.

You could also have a bad control card depending on which model wire feeder this is.

Is your air compressor able to keep up with the continuous regulated air flow?
If positive air flow is not constant same pressure all the time
cutting will stop..>>

Also if your movements are to fast and or material to thick machine will behave that way..

The area where you posted is the 'Additional Information' information are so perhaps the OP can take his apart for you, but where the trigger connects should be pretty straight forward. To check if there is a signal from the switch on the gun, depress the switch and the wire should start to move out. If it does, the main board has a fault, if it doesn't, it may be a faulty switch.
