i believe you have it wired wrong, i dont have enough info here to tell you what you did wrong. look at your instructions again and double check everything. you may have damaged the pump motor. basic wire hook up is black to black and white to white and green to a ground. black is your hot (load)
white is your neutral. thats about all i can tell you from the info you gave

I have a flotec 1

I am going to take a stab at this it sounds like the bladder has gone bad it the expantion tank. Try letting some air out of the bladder tank and see if you get any water if you do then the bladder has gone bad the tank will need replaced. After the replacement turn the limit switch back to normal settings. You can also tap on the tank to see if it is full of water.

My Flotec Model FPSC3200H-01 1/2hp

Well I know it a dirty job but someone has to did. Unhook the pump from the plumbing and take the pump out so you can see what fell into the sump pit and is lodged in the impellers.
If you have it out already turn the impiller backwords and see if that frees it up.

Pump appears to be frozen

I am not familiar with Flotec pumps, Is it easy to disengage pump from motor to see if it is the motor? you might also check for a bad circuit breaker by disconnecting load wires at the breaker. If you are not qualified call an electrician. he will help you pinpoint the problem further. be safe Do not take electricity and moving parts lightly

My shallow well pump starts

I would like to know what size tank you have and how you use it? I have always set my pumps pressure switch at 30 psi. on and 50 psi. off. But you may have different settings. What I do is set pressure in tank at 2 psi below on pressure. In my pump it is set at 28 psi. Hope this helps. Thanks

I have the FPOF 360

I would take a drill and drill an eighth inch hole in the discharge pipe of the pump. I always do this
when installing a new pump, because sometimes the pump will get air in it, the little hole will vent
out the air. There will be water squirting out the little hole, but that doesn't hurt anything.

Hope this helps.

Flotec 1/6 submersible pump wont pump any water

Check the pump to see if their is anything stuck inside. Check to see if motor is even spinning, it might hum...but not pump or spin.

Pump holds prime. No water coming up from well.

You may have too high of a head (lines too long) or the seal in the pump maybe worn.

My Flotec pump is three years old and it

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

You can not repair those small submersible pumps. Let me rephrase that...you should not try to rebuild those pumps. Once the oil leaks out and water enters the sealed motor area causing the unit to seize you can not replace the parts you will need for anything close to the cost of just buying a new unit. They are basically throw-away units at the price of new being under $100.

Home Depot for $62.97

Lowe’s 1/3HP ProPlumber

Local hardware stores will have similar products for nearly the same prices.

I currently have a redjacket well pump 1/2 hp. it

It is aing trouble with it you may have a hole in the plastic pipe or the foot valve is bad. you ca shallow well and has a foot valve on it and if you check both pretty easy. The foot valve will not seat causing it not to give enought pressure and would cause it to run all the time. also the pressure switch may be bad and it is a simple change out costs $35.00 at most hardware store.

The pump seems to be backed up. It does not pump

It is possible the impeller and shaft have seperated, if this is the case the motor would "free wheel" without turning the impeller. If the pump is mechanically fine I'd unplug it and look for plugage or a stuck check valve (be certain a check valve is not it up-side down). Other considerations may be the bility of the pump too; if your looking to pump too much head for the pump it will have no flow too.
I hope this may have helped,
Tom
