Duravit Starck 3 Wall Mounted Toilet with Carrier Questions & Answers
My toilet cistern is continually hissing
Hi
I have exactly the same problem, in fact it could have been me writing this - 3 toliets fine, main bathroom hisses.
The Geberit flushing ciphen on the left (the smaller one) has been replaced and there is still a problem. If you look carefully, the water level needs to come up over the lip of an opening on the Geberit part and this causes the valve mechanism to shut off and stop the hissing. It is fine for about 40 minutes and then the hissing starts again if you don't flush it. The reason is that the water level has gone down but there is no obvious signs of where the water is going. It could be that the central flush mechanism is leaking slightly. I am going to replace this part next.
If I were you I'd see if you are getting any water leakage into the pan when toilet not in use to see if the water level in the cistern is going down

Toilet seat come loose and no obvious way to
well there should be 2 hinges rite behind seat. you wont see the screws cause they are under a plastic cover. take a flat head screw driver and pry up cover. lil cover should lift up towards tank. then you should see screws. the nut is under bowl you have to bend down then look up to see them or do what i do and feel for them. take big flat head or big philips screw driver and while you hold nut titen screw. hope this helps. duane:)

Re. Duravit Happy D toilet (tank No. 0929100005)
Remove and clean the flush valve and the flush valve seat(it is the flap that opens up to allow water to flush the toilet). Once the edges of the valve and the seat are cleaned, possibly with "0000" grit bulldog steel wool, it should not leak anymore. To make sure it is not leaking, once tank has refilled completely, put some food die in the tank. If, after 10-15 minutes, the water in the toilet bowl is colored, you have a leak from the flush valve. Replacing the flush valve is very easy - just bring the old one with you to the hardware/plumbing store and ask for a replacement. Blessings and good luck!!

How to change water level ?
The level is determined by a floating device connected to the water valve. Some are on an angled arm and some move up and down.
Determine how your valve is shut off and either change the big round float or adjust the clips on the rising one.
Just keep the level below the overflow and the flush handle to avoid a running toilet or a leak.
