Daewoo KOR-630A Microwave Oven - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

These units have an issue with the microwave generator overheating. When this happens the unit shuts down to prevent damage to it. When it cools off, it comes back on. That part called a magnetron is not listed to for purchase.

What fuse do you want to replace? If it is an internal fuse inside the microwave case, DO NOT TOUCH IT, unless you are qualified to do so, because the HIGH Voltage capacitor inside can store enough HIGH VOLTAGE for long periods, enough to kill you.

Could be a bad door switch or a bad relay. With the door closed try gently pushing it up and down if at some point the unit fires up, one of the door switches is not making contact. As for the relays they are on the circuit board, but not replaceable unless you are very good at De-soldering. Also keep in mind microwave units have very high very deadly voltages stored in the capacitors 4000V that can easily kill so don't mess with them unless you know what you are doing!

How do you set the clock on microwave.

It's normally in the power plug. you probably would need a screw driver to take the fuse out. check the AMP and make sure while replacing the correct AMP fuse is placed. hope that helps.

Fuse will be inside the oven.And with replacing fuse ,you need to check the cause of blowing the fuse.Check the capacitor and transformer (physically).If they look deformed .Then change it followed by the fuse.

1. Touch the CLOCK pad. This will activate the 12-hour system. (To activate 24-hour system, tap once more)
2. Enter the correct time of day by touching the time set panels.
3. Touch CLOCK pad.

You will know that you're changing the time when your display stops blinking and and the colon starts blinking.

Or just look for eBay itrem # 260417312468.

Open it and change the fuse then change the diode. Be careful because Microwaves can shock you even when they are off.
