My house is only 2 years old and has begun making

If the water actually stops running it might be a problem in the internal balancing valves. Some valves will restrict flows of the other water-supply: If there is slow hot water it throttles the cold water, if there is slow cold water it throttles the hot water. It is meant to stop the screaming in the shower if a toilet for example is flushed and the cold water pressure drops. Some but not all valves can be taken apart and cleaned. Turn off both shut off vavles first!

How to repair a constant drip on Hansgrohe Talia (hot water handle)

Most likely you will need a replacement cartridge to resolve a constant drip. This model uses the M2/M3 cartridge part number 92730000. It is available through your local dealer or online dealer. Hansgrohe Solaris faucet will not return from spray to stream. The shuttle stays in the spray position

I would try cleaning the sprayer with CLR to break up and remove any deposits. If cleaning does not reolve you may need a new sprayer. The part number for the sprayer is 14893801 in steel optic. It is available through your local dealer or online dealer. Feel free to call me at Hansgrohe 1-800-334-0455. Press #2 for tech. Ask for David.

Solaris Model #06544860 leaking under

The first thing I would do is to locate source of the leak. Look carefully at faucet when it is on and see if you have any water leaking from areator and running back down the underside of spout and leaking around base of faucet, also see if you have any leaks around handle. If the leak is from the areator you can just replace it and not have to remove the faucet. when you check under sink on faucet supply lines make sure they aren't leaking at that point. I would use paper towels or rags to wipe everything dry under faucet and let it set for 1/2 hour then check again. If it.s still dry run some water and use both hot and cold water seperatly, checking underside in between. If you determine that leak is coming from top side and leaking thru. Shut off water supply valves if available if not shut off supply to house, make sure water is off before proceeding. Disconnect supply lines from faucet,Remove retaing nuts on either side of base, and remove washers. Remove faucet and check for any obvious faults. If you think it was leaking around base get a small tub of plumbers putty. Most hardware stores stock it. Remove a golf ball sized portion or larger and knead in your hands until it is warm and pliable. Press into place in faucet base. Continue doing this until it's full. Reinstall plastic or rubber base gasket and put faucet back in place Put washers and retaing nuts back on a tighten till snug. Center faucet where you want it and tighten securely. Scrape off excess putty with knife point and wipe with paper towels till clean. Hook up supply lines and turn water back on. Check for leaks and good luck. Thank you

Hansgrohe 06566860 Metro Single Hole Kitchen Faucet

make sure the hose under the sink, ( the one that goes to the faucet) has not gotten twisted around anything. sounds like it is losing pressure. it takes steady pressure for the stream to maintain that "needle" spray.

What is that rattling sound when i use my kitchen

Water hammer: is a loud banging or clanging of the pipes usually occurring when a valve is turned on or off due to loose pipes.

Solution: Anchor the offending pipes to the wall. Buy water hammer arrestors. Also Lower the water pressure with a pressure reducing valve

Hope this tip Helps.

Trouble connecting supply lines--leaking/Hansgrohe kitchen faucet

You are probably missing the feral (sp?) that belongs behind the nut on the compression fitting. I have an older hansgrohe kitchen faucet. I am experiencing low water flow from hot water only. The restriction appears to be within the faucet. Thoughts? Solutions? Thx, Albert

I would suggest that if the low flow is affecting the hot water only that the filter is restricted where the tap plumbing joins the house plumbing. The filter is in a small housing which is right next to the house plumbing. Turn off the hot water supply and ensure the mixer is in the off position. Disconnect the hose adjacent to the house plumbing using a 19mm and also a 10mm spanner to stop the thin hose twisting. Then use a 13mm spanner to unscrew the filter housing.

Water from bathtub faucet is orange when first turns on. The plumber says it is not rust. The pipes are all copper. It becomes clear after about 30 seconds but by the next morning the water is cloudy

identify the source from hot or from cold or from both. cold only suggests you may have a rusty water service supply pipe. this pipe is outside underground. hot would indicate corrosion at your water tou may have a copper system but it;sheater. both hot and cold would possibly indicate galvanized nipples were used to stub out of the wall under your sink, and are experiencing ionic transfer...or electrolysis...if its your bathtub you are talking about and not your sink faucet,,,,the color is very common and is occurring because your tub spout and showerhead were piped with galvanized pipe. a lot of plumbing shops pre-fab their tub valves with galvanized pipe and supply the valve water with copper tubing....just grin and bear it if so. one more idea if it is your faucet and it occurs on both hot and cold use...check the screen in your faucet aerator...the little chrome (or brass) tip that screws on and off the end of the spout on the faucet. good luck and if you see corrosion on any supply connections...handle with care...the pipe or fitting could be very brittle or soft...and break apart...causing a flood....make sure to know where and how to turn your house water supply off before going beyond a visual inspection of your plumbing..orange water indicates corrosion of steel pipe 99% of the time and bkue water indicates corrosion of copper pipe 99% of the time.

I have a Hansgrohe Talis S Pull-Down Faucet and the handle is quite stiff. Happened about a month ago and I'm worried about inner damage with use as it takes quite a lot of pressure to turn it on/off.

That sounds like an issue with your either The cartridge or your handle needs to be reseated correctly . Turn off your water turn the tap to the on position find a set screw should be a small Allen key before turning out make sure your drain is plugged in case the set screws falls all the way out loosen your set screw till it’s almost all the way out remove your handle check to see if your Handle possibly had not been seated correctly. There are YouTube videos to show you how to reseat your handle properly it’s not that difficult. If it’s not a handle issue your cartridge likely needs to be replaced which is also an easy process .

You could measure flow with spray head attached, then remove head (see link) and measure again to see how much the head reduces rate of flow. You could try removing the check valve(s) but not sure if that will work as it may leak. product features · consists of: single lever kitchen mixer · swivel range 150° · with telescopic function (330 - 500 mm) · normal and spray jet · lockable shower spray, spray returns through pressing spray diverter · quick connect shower hose · flow rate 6.7 l/min · ceramic cartridge · connection type: G ? compression · integrated non-return valve · suitable for continuous flow water heaters
