I replaced both ink cartridges but the printer

Hello. The cartridges may not be seated properly in the carrier or just needs cleaning. Remove the cartridges from the printer. Unplug printer from the power source. Grab a damp paper towel and place it on the table. Set the cartridge on the towel with the nozzles facing down and make about 2-3 lines just to clean the nozzles. Do the same thing to the other cartridge. Plug printer back to power source. when it's ready, load the cartridges back in and let it print the alignment page again. After printing, check if you still have the problem. Hope this helps.

There could be something blocking the paper path. Unload the sheets of paper from the feeder. Grab a flashlight and look into the feeder for any foreign objects that might have accidentally fallen into it.
Also, try to check the cartridge area for any obstructions. Open the printer cover and make sure the paper path and the cartridge carrier path are clear from debris or foreign objects.

Hello. I have a Lexmark

Try to remove the sheets of paper from the feeder. Grab a flashlight and look into the feeder for any foreign objects that might have accidentally fell into it. If feeder is clear, open the printer cover and remove the cartridges. While the printer cover is open, check inside for any obstructions in the paper path. If none, then close the printer cover. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges. Close the cover. Load some paper (avoid overloading). Try to print again.
If problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

Carrier jam

To fix the carrier jam, open the printer cover. Remove the cartridges from the carrier. While the cover is open, check inside for any loose transparent strip - the encoder strip. The encoder strip ensures the proper mechanism of the carrier on the assembly. If everything looks fine inside the printer, close the cover. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, re-insert the cartridges and make sure they are properly inserted and secured in the carrier.

I've just installed both cartridges

Note that a refilled cartridge will not be able to report its ink level. Check if correct ink level is displayed on your printer operator panel. Press Setup button > Maintenance > Ink Level - check your black and color ink levels. If ink levels are correct, then the problem could be on your computer.
The Print Spooler service on your computer may be disabled. To enable the Print Spooler service, follow the steps below:
  1. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in "NET STOP SPOOLER" (this will stop the print spooler service)
  2. Type in "NET START SPOOLER" (this will restart the print spooler service)
Try to check your ink levels again.

Scanned images are too large to upload, are there

Make sure the Lexmark X4650 printer driver is updated. You can update your printer driver by downloading and installing the downloadable driver from the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/iofMNC. Select your operating system, download and execute the file. Try to scan again and see the difference.
You can also try to lower the scan resolution (dpi setting) on your computer by launching the Lexmark Productivity Studio application. Select Scan > on the "What are you scanning?" screen, click Custom Settings > decrease the dpi setting to 200 or 150. Try to scan again.
You may also use third party scan softwares to decrease the scan file size if results are still too large for you.

I refilled my ink cartridge

These new printers register and memorize ink cartridges so that they cannot be refilled the only way to refill them is to never let then run to zero percent once they reach zero the printer prevents them from operating if you do catch them before they rundow they will still run down to nothing but will continue to operate as long as you donot let them run out of ink.

Thumbs Up if Helpful also feedback is appreciated!!!

How do you scan photo to computer?

  • Lay the picture to be scanned face-down on the glass. Square up the photo using the guides that are usually located along the edges of the scanning bed.

  • Click the scan button on your computer's scanning software window. Some all-in-one printers need you to press the scan button on the printer itself; check the manual before using.

  • Get a preview of the scanned image up on your computer monitor. This might happen automatically depending on your software settings; if not, you will have to prompt your computer to display one.
