Proscan 32LA25Q 32 in. LCD TV - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How do I connect a WII to this TV?
plug the red and white and yellow plugs into the AV input on the back of the TV rather than the component in on the TV. (they look very similar easy to confuse)
Proscan 32la25Q Backlight not comming on
You either have a faulty backlight or one or more of the inverter transformers is bad,
a close inspection of the picture when on will show a bad tube as it will be lighter or darker than the rest, transformers may be hot to the touch

Try turning off and unplugging the TV for 24 hours. It could also be a power supply issue. In that case you should get it fixed or replaced.

Hello,
The T-CON board is usually under a metal shield cover and sitting on the middle top section of the screen, you will see a very thin connector with VERY SMALL WIRE attached to it, be real careful when you try to remove this connector.
Make sure the number as printed on the PCB match the one you are getting, since TV can have more than one version.
As you can see, there is F1 fuse on the left side of the connector.
Check to see if you do have 12v on it and it is not blown.
I hope this will help to fix the fault.... and do take care in handling the set because it contain high voltages....
We had a trasnformer blow and our power went
It sounds like you might get lucky and have blown the in-line fuse. By lucky, I mean, it could be worse, but you need to open the tv and check for the "white/Slow Blow" fuse that connects to the power plug of the tv.
Hope this helps :)
The TV takes along time
Hello tcren....
Your capacitors need to be replaced. You can order them from Allied Electronics in Largo FL. There phone number is (800)433-5700. Be sure you have your model number ready so they send you the correct ones.
When they arrive unplug the TV and place TV face down, take the back off, unplug and unscrewed the board, replace the capacitors, and reassemble.
The capacitors themselves are only a couple of dollars each. Joe
Thanks for choosing Fixya!
Remote control will not work.

Are you using the remote control that came with your "Proscan 32LA25q 32in. LCD TV"? or are you using another remote? if so - what remote? brand and model. Also if that is not the correct television please post the correct brand and model.
basic things that you can do.
1. try a new set of batteries.
2. reseat the batteries to the remote and confirm that they are inserted correct, and the right way. Also check that the battery contacts are clean, if they are not clean, clean them.

4. move closer to the television or attempt to point the remote in different parts of the tv.
