Hit by lightening need to replace fuse/vizio tv 47
The fuse is located at the power supply. Please open or remove the cover of the television and look the power supply at the upper right side of the TV.Then remove the cover of the power supply and you can see the fuse.Replace the same amphere of fuse.Thanks..
Black screen
First, look at the screen in darkened room to see if you can see any slight glow from the screen, if it does, then the problem can be the T-CON (not getting the 12vdc) or the main logic board not feeding the signals to the T-CON board.
if not, next place to check will be the power supply module, make sure it has 24vdc which is required by the backlight inverter to work, the reason for not having 24vdc can be from bad DC filter caps (leaking/bulging top, high ESR) or short circuits in the inverter board which will cause the 24vdc supply to go into shutdown mode, so you may have to disconnect the power cable that feed the inverter board to see if the 24vdc will work without the inverter board hookup, you will need to apply about 3~4 amp of load to the 24vdc to make sure it can handle that. There are fuses on the backlight inverter boards also. So there are some troubleshoot you will have to do to find out the causes of the problem you are having.
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools, electronics knowledge, and know safety precaution then please read on:

Black screen with sound
Turn on the set, dim the lights in the room, shine a bright flashlight on the screen. If you see a faint picture, you most likely have a fault in the backlight circuit. Are you wanting to repair this yourself?
Power is there, but TV won't turn on
stored voltages are high no touching these circuts becuase they hold charges and alot of screws.
fualty capacitors you say after a while it stays on theres a full charge in the unit theres some type of discharging effect on the set after its off for a while. voltage goes to low or unstable after it is off for a while. your better off getting the service docs for this set if you want to diy..other wise get a tv tech to check it for you. hope this helps
Vizio remote not working
Make sure your remote batteries are good, also check the electrical contact in the remote battery compartment. Make sure there isn't any type of corrosion. Also make sure the batteries are making contact with the contacts inside the remote. Is this a OEM remote or a universal?
The picture looks pinkish sreen
Does it do this on all inputs? I had a problem like this, turned out to be a defective LVDS(cable from the main board to the t-con board)cable. To see if you have this same problem, wiggle the LVDS cable at both the main board side and t-con board side. If wiggling the cables clears up the problem, your cable is bad. They can be ordered for about $15
When i turn tv on screen says no signal then tv
Hi,
First unplug the unit, disconnect all the inputs(cable, video, etc.) and then plug it in and turn it on naked. Let me know if the symptoms still there to assist you further.

You said what TV, but not which remote.
Happy hunting.
Black showing as red on LCD
this is a LVDS cable issue. All you have to do is call Vizio and they will send out a tech and replace the LVDS cable along with the Main Board. This should resolve the pixilation issue.
