The Charger isnt the right volts for that laptop i recommend getting another charger,, the power cable maybe blew from too much use..

You need to connect a wired usb mouse first and try pairing the bluetooth mouse again with your system by going to the control panel and opening your bluetooth device manager. Click add a device and press the connect button underneath your mouse. System should be able to detect your mouse. If that failed, try replacing the batteries with fresh ones.

Try this things first so that you can check if it is really the screen that's causing the problem,
While the computer is off, press D+POWER button and hold it for 5 secs, different colors should come up,
Make sure the computer turns on. You will know that if the power button lights up. Try to lug in an external monitor and see if display will come up,
If the display comes up, and the d+power did not display anything, might want to call technical support so you can get the screen replaced,

Sounds like a problem with the video ram. Things to try:
Flash BIOS to most current Load BIOS defaults Update Video Driver and Chipset to most current

What you could do is to upgrade your bios firmware.

Download that and run it in windows. Do not turn off the computer at any point during the upgrade.

you didn't specify which Studio 17, so here is the 1737 manual,

if you go to support.dell.com and put in your service tag, it will send you to the correct manual if it is a different version

This could be a hardware related or a driver related problem. Try to get the Original driver once again installed, and if that doesnt work then give the cd\dvd for a repair. Good Luck

Open your windows explorer. Right click your CD Drive. Click on Eject. If it still does not work then you should consider contacting Dell Technical support specially if you are still in warranty as your Drive may be faulty.

The type of wireless you are using can also effect your connection. The Wireless N standard provides for the best speed and connection strength, with the speed as much as 8 times faster, and the signal strength better by a factor of 4.If you are not already using the N standard I would definitely suggest switching over to that standard.
If you do have a clear path to your router, and are not really getting any interference from other equipment, it is possible that you have an issue with either your wifi card or router. I would make sure you have the most up to date drivers for both pieces of equipment as that will go a long way towards eliminating the problem.

You should hold down the Fn or Function button while pushing the top row of F1, F2, F3 etc buttons until you find the one you probably hit accidentally.

I would reccomend you to send your Dell Studio to service, since there are good chances the problem is with Motheboard. I would really reccomend you that! :)
