the button is usually on the door of the CD drive. Or you can go to the My Computer Icon and double click on that and then right click on the Cd-rom drive and select "eject"

The Charger isnt the right volts for that laptop i recommend getting another charger,, the power cable maybe blew from too much use..

Blue tooth icon missing from system tray now Dell

You need to connect a wired usb mouse first and try pairing the bluetooth mouse again with your system by going to the control panel and opening your bluetooth device manager. Click add a device and press the connect button underneath your mouse. System should be able to detect your mouse. If that failed, try replacing the batteries with fresh ones.

Hi ive got a dell studio laptop the laptop powers

HI there.
Try this things first so that you can check if it is really the screen that's causing the problem,
While the computer is off, press D+POWER button and hold it for 5 secs, different colors should come up,
Make sure the computer turns on. You will know that if the power button lights up. Try to lug in an external monitor and see if display will come up,
If the display comes up, and the d+power did not display anything, might want to call technical support so you can get the screen replaced,

Hi!

What you could do is to upgrade your bios firmware.

Here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/dellstudio17biosupgrade1

Download that and run it in windows. Do not turn off the computer at any point during the upgrade.

you didn't specify which Studio 17, so here is the 1737 manual,

if you go to support.dell.com and put in your service tag, it will send you to the correct manual if it is a different version

This could be a hardware related or a driver related problem. Try to get the Original driver once again installed, and if that doesnt work then give the cd\dvd for a repair. Good Luck

Open your windows explorer. Right click your CD Drive. Click on Eject. If it still does not work then you should consider contacting Dell Technical support specially if you are still in warranty as your Drive may be faulty.

Dell 1735 computer drops wifi connection whenever

There are a number of things that can cause interference for your wifi connection. Everything from the number of walls between you and your router, any other wireless items in your house from phones to baby monitors, and depending on how close you are to your neighbors, their equipment may interfere with yours. The type of wireless you are using can also effect your connection. The Wireless N standard provides for the best speed and connection strength, with the speed as much as 8 times faster, and the signal strength better by a factor of 4.If you are not already using the N standard I would definitely suggest switching over to that standard.
If you do have a clear path to your router, and are not really getting any interference from other equipment, it is possible that you have an issue with either your wifi card or router. I would make sure you have the most up to date drivers for both pieces of equipment as that will go a long way towards eliminating the problem.
