I got a phillips 2gb

There is a hard reset on the player if you examine very closely and so if the player has hung up then you can reset so that the processor returns to the stable state.
However if the battery has not charged or there is a hardware fault then it will not reset not restart.
Please check up for warranty in this case with the nearest philips support center.

MP3 player won't power up.

Hi ronnie641,

Here is the Support Site for the Philips GoGear Vibe:

http://ow.ly/5QSk4

You can find FAQ's, as well as instructions on how to perform a Repair (see below). A Repair will restore the device as well as update the firmware.

If you have any additional questions, you can reach Philips Consumer Care @ 1-888-744-5477 - an agent can also guide you through the process.

Hope this helps!

REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS: http://ow.ly/5QSon

Use a pen tip or other sharp object to insert the RESET hole gently on the side of the player and connect it again to your PC.

If it is still not recognized, your player may be at fault. Try the Philips Device Manager software.

NOTE: Contents will be removed by using the repair function.

  1. Install the Philips Device Manager and run it with your player connected to your PC. You can download it under the Software & drivers section.
  2. Click the Repair tab in the Device Manager, press and hold the corresponding recovery key on the player when connecting it to your PC.

  3. Follow the PC screen to recover your player.

You can find the recovery key on your player from the below table.

I need a manual for my philips mp3 go gear RaGa 4

Dear Scrym_family,

My solution for you is by way of providing you the manual so you can either view it on your computer, or so if you want a hard copy of this you can keep it on paper. So here is the answer.

Here is a copy of the manual I have found for you, the only trick to this though that it is in .PDF file format, so what you will need to do is print this out, or save it to a USB Solid State Flash Drive (or known as a usb pen drive, thumb drive, key drive etc etc), and walk it to another computer and then print it from that location if you do not own a printer. One quick note though, you will need either adobe reader or some version of acrobat in order to view .PDF file formats/ extensions. These you can find pretty much anywhere.

Anyway the link you will need is

http://www.philips.co.uk/c/mp3-and-mp4-players/gogear-raga-4-gb-sa2rga04sn_02/prd/;jsessionid=4FB16C7529A7FA3001078549EFFACA23.app102-drp4?t=support

I hope this is the fixya for you, and if there is anything further that you require regarding this then please do not hesitate to get hold of me

yours sincerely
