Hey welcome to
fixya. I hope u 'll be fine.Actually the problem is occurring due to maximum memory storage. Every device needs some space to load and for working. There 'll be no no space of 20 mb in your device which is its need to working so make some free space first
- Simply delete some useless data like (songs) from it. When there will be free space up to 20Mb then this problem 'll b solved.

I have a opal M4204 mp3player and need to know how
Add it as new hardware to your computer, the wizzard will do the rest for you. If you do not have an acceptable driver in house, it will ask permission to search the web for it. I downloaded a freebie package of drivers, and they fit the bill for all my needs, but try it without first. Your connecting to the computer is via a usb cable, which should have come with tour mp3 player. If it didn't, then **** Smiths or Tandys should have one, just take your mp3 along and they will find you the correct cable.
It is frozen at the intializing screen
You can try one of two things.
1st try to reset the device by holding the power button for more than 10 sec.
2nd You can try to reinstall the firmware by following these steps:

Hi,
Please try the following to resolve this issue:
- Reset the player by pressing and holding MENU for more than 10 seconds.
- If the player still cannot be turned on after resetting, perform a firmware upgrade to restore it.
- Click HERE to download and install the latest RCA Auto Updater Application Select “Run” when prompted to either run or save the application.
This program can be configured to regularly check the RCA
website for new firmware releases or software updates specific to your
player. You decide if and when you want to update your player with the
new firmware. See example below:
How to downlaod
download lime wire n click on one file that has "mp3" under the catagory labeled "type" and download and wait till its finished, then right click it and select "save target as" name the it, then open up your media player (mines is "Windows media player" and do what you have to do.
All of a sudden it will not turn
If you can turn your player on while being plugged to your PC/Laptop or USB charger, then your internal Lion battery is most likely gone past its useful life (some 500 charges or 18 months usage) and may need replacing.
Most MP3 player may show 'fully charged' when plugged in either when the battery is truly fully charge or defective battery is no longer taking a charge: e.g. minimum or no current flow situation.
Mp3player 2gb smp2012
most of the time when your plugged into the pc it will charge see if this is true for your player if so leave it on the the pc for a few hours also drain the battery fully then charge for a few hours
On my computer it will not let me download songs
You can use the following two metheds:
Connect your MP3 player to the computer. Some MP3 players connect directly to a USB port, while others connect to a USB port by way of a specific USB connector that comes with the MP3 player. Open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer. This is usually the "My Music" folder; available from the "Start" menu, but it can be any folder where you save your music files. Scroll down to the song you want to transfer to the MP3 player. Right-click on the title. When the options are displayed, click on "Send To." Scroll down the "Send To" options and select your MP3 player. This can be listed as your MP3 player's name or as "Removable Drive." Click on this selection. Continue this process until you have transferred all songs that you want to your MP3 player.
- --**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.

I got a flash mp3 player and it dont want to turn
As long as the computer enumerates the drive (you can see it in My Computer as a drive letter) then there is likely an issue with the firmware that requires reinstalling it.
Download the firmware install from the RCA website:
http://voxrightnow.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2558Follow the on-screen instructions to perform the install.
Be sure to back up any important media before performing this install.
If your computer does not recognize it, press and hold the play button while connecting the device for upwards of 30 seconds.
