How can i retrieve my yahoo messenger's list
perhaps a glitch of your messenger if you are activating the archive.
try to check on (C:) > Program Files > Yahoo Messenger >
Archive (folder), if there is a folder about archive, click to open and
it will display the convo you had.
OR
if you go to options the privacy, drag and drop all your contacts back onto allow i think...its something like that any way.. try it! hope it works! if these doesn't work, re add them in your messenger list..

When I try to login to yahoo messenger I get error 81003004
hi,
Follow these methods:-
First method:
1. go to messenger menu
2. select connection preference/ preference
3. the tab will automatic select connection preference, if it doesn’t, select it manual.
4. change your internet conection type, for my problem i choose broadband(DSL/Cable).
Second Method
For me, it was because I had set a localhost (127.0.0.1) proxy in Internet Explorer for anti-filtering purposes, thru which Y! Messenger was trying to connect. So I had to remove it to get it done.
just go to:
Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections (tab) > Lan Settings (button)
then uncheck the Proxy server checkbox.

Hello, are you using a proxy? Anyway, try this..
STEP1
1. Open your Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools > Internet Options then click the Connections tab
3.Click the LAN Settings button and a new dialog box will open
4. At the new dialog box, look for the Proxy server checkbox, if this is checked, UNCHECK it.
5. Click OK button for the dialog boxes.
6. Try logging in to your Yahoo Messenger account now.

Unable to sign into my pof account
1) Try clearing your browser cache
Tools > Internet Options > General Tab
Press Delete Button
Uncheck Preserve Website Favorites Data
Check all other options available
Press Delete Button
Wait for Windows to delete cache files
Press Ok
Retry login
2) Reset IE Browser
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab
Press Reset Button
Check delete personal settings
Press Reset Button
Click Ok
Reboot for changes to take effect
Retry login

Cant open my yahoo messenger but i can open my mailbox
wat's ur major problem..?
if u think ur a/c really hacked,my better advise is...backup all ur mails,drafts,sent mails to another mail id..
if u have any other mail id..try to login with that id..
i think it is msngr problem not ur id's..upgrade ur classic mail to yahoo mail+. so u can chat with ur online frnds...

Login error 81003004 from Yahoo Messenger
as far as wat i did to my YM.
i simply checked the connection preferences and turned
"Connect via a proxy server."
then select
"HTTP proxy"
after that take a look at your internet connection dropdown list..
some mistakes are seen here.. instead of having the "broadband" connection selected the "dial-up" connection was chosen by YM itself..
