After power on, Filter light flashing with Cotton/towels on and Normal and Delicates light flashing. Reset in diagnostic mode by pushing power and the more time and less time buttons simultaneously.

I just had to say thanku for posting this! This absolutely worked for me on my dryer and I let out a huge sigh of relief. Honestly, probably wouldn't have been able to figure it out on my own! Thanks again!!

The breaker won't reset? Or the dryer? If it.s the breaker, it is protecting you from a short circuit and a possible electric shock. Are you sure you want to try to fix this without a professional?

Dryer won't turn off.

Is it a mechanical timer you turn (the "clickety-clank"-kind) to set the time? Sounds like something in it has been worn out. Shouldn't be too hart to get a replacement for it,t and you should also probably be able to replace it yourself unless you're very "un-handy", or want to play it safe.

Where is the sensor

If you're talking about the moisture sensor, it's located in the lint filter casing. Remove your lint filter and look inside the casing. About 4 to 6 inches down on the right-hand drum side of the casing and running to the center, you should see two flat metal arcs following the contour of the casing. These metal arcs are the moisture sensors

Dryer says check filter and it is clean

Air flow in the duct work is restricted... and the dryer sensor thinks that the filter is clogged.

You will need to take a fluffy cleaning wand and, with the filter removed, try loosening up some of the accumulated line in the duct.

Next, remove the lint pipe from the wall connector and try cleaning it and the pipe for as much distance as you can reach.

Finally, go outside and check the vent. It needs to be clean and clear of obstructions... also, needs to close when the machine is off.
You can do testing on the outside vent with "air dry" setting - hot air is not required... Keep cleaning ductwork until the outside vent passes air freely.

After air flow is restored, the sensor in the "VENT" alarm will act nice.....and stay off

Lg dryer wont start lights on on but wont start

Check the thermal fuse, start switch on the control panel and door switch because all three are more likely the cause of the dryer not starting up. The door switch is often the culprit in this type of fault, although a faulty drive motor is not ruled out.

Your question does not clear. When it cut off, does it still run or running without heat. If it is totally shut down, the issue may be from the motor as it was over loaded.
