Machine will turn off on me
There is an internal battery in this machine. Machine reads that first. You need to replace that battery. It is almost $30.
The schiller at 2 plus ecg machine not printing ecg
Does it work in auto mode ? are you putting paper correctly means , there is a black mark on paper which is sensed by paper sensor .If you put paper up side down then paper sensor won't be able to sense any paper & gives you error for rifilling paper .If this doesn't help you then You need to replace battrey . Thanks
Machine only shows straight lines on screen and
you either have 1. a defective patient cable, or 2. a defective PC board. The internal problem is very likely the input connector its self, buy this is a multilayer board, and requires an experienced hand with a soldering station. Also note that if the problem lies elsewhere on the board and the board has been worked on in any way, Schiller will no longer exchange it. A new PC board(aprox2200.00) would be your only option. IF the board is returned to Schiller having never been worked on, they will exchange it for around 800-900 dollars. A far better deal./
AT2+ doesn't print
HI, Its a common problem with Schiller ECG machine. The battery of your ECG machine is faulty. Even if you are using the machine in AC it uses the battery power. The AC power is only used for charging the battery. When the machine starts to print the battery will drop down and the printing will stop. This is happening with the machine. It will eject the first paper without printing. its normal. Because the machine starts printing on a fresh page only. In your case the machine is ejecting the first paper. When the machine starts its printing in the second page it will draw a large amount of current from the battery for its thermal printing head. If the battery is not proper then it will suddenly drop the printing. The square box you see is not printed by your ECG machine. Its already printed in the paper of Schiller. With this mark the Machine sense the page. Its a 12 volt 2.3 AH battery. You will not be able to replace the battery from out side any where. For replacing the same you have to open the machine by removing the screws on its bottom. Be care full with the paper tray while removing the top cover. Also do not use any force to open the top cover because there are connections on the top cover. Here i have added a link to the battery for Schiller AT2 PLUS

How can i set time
To set the time, hit the ALT key followed by 911 and the time in this sequence HHMMSS.TO set the date hit the ALT key followed by 922 and the date in this sequence DDMMYY or MMDDYY depending on your software. Try both formats and keep the one that works. In any cast always do a test print prior to live patient use to be certain your happy with the format.
Schiller AT-Plus, I cannot get
The unit is apparently printing out in Cabarra sequence. To restore the correct lead sequence, do the following: Hit the ALT key followed by 7 then 1, hen the stop key. This will restore standard lead sequencing. That is the start of the battle. If you desire a 3+1ryth format with a lead 2 at the bottom, which is our standard format, then you have more to do. For this format hit the ALT key followed by 1 then 0 followed by the stop key.to set the ryth lead to lead II at the bottom of the page, hit ALT followed by 3 then 8 then 2 followed by the stop key. If your filters are not enabled hit Alt 5 6 stop, alt 5 8 stop, Alt 8 3 stop, ALT 8 1 stop.Do a test print after all of this and be certain the unit is configured to your taste prior to a live patient.
How do I change the date time/patient's age?
To change the date, hit the ALT key followed by 911 then enter the time in this format: HHMMSS.Then hit the Alt key followed by 922 then enter the date in this format DDMMYY.Note that on some units you may have to enter the date in this format MMDDYYtry both ways and keep the one that works. Test with an printout.

On the right side of your keyboard are 4 direction arrows, left/right/up/down. The up and down arrows serve as your LCD view angle-contrast adjustments.
I change the paper and
Be certain that you have the correct paper in your unit. THe Schiller AT2 uses a black Que mark on the paper to start the Automatic 12 lead. If the device fails to Que, it will never start an auto run, but manual(rhythm) functions will still remain. The part number paper you should be using is 2157-017A.
The Schiller AT-1 is not printing, when the
The Schiller AT1 is a battery powered unit. A common symptom of weak/defective battery's is that it will stop printing after 1-2 seconds of run. As to whether the patient cable effects this, I honestly don't know, It really shouldn't, baring some very weird internal short in the cable. The battery in the AT1 is beyond the average user to safely replace. Before anything else insure that the AC indicator light illuminates when the unit is plugged in. If not, you device might have a defective power supply. In either case, the unit needs repair in a Qualified shop.
My Cardioline Delta 1 Plus EKG Machine is reading
First of all, the Cardioline Delta 1 if defective would require shipment to Italy for repair, parts and technical information is at a premium this sid eof the atlantic on that particular model. In this case you might be able to resolve your problem by clearing your directory. Acording to Cardioline technical support, that *may* refer to a directory full situation. If you have a copy of your operators manual, refer to it regarding clearing your patient directory and deletion of all the patient data files. Note that doing so will permanently destroy any saved patient data, so print out anything that is important first. I cannot personally vouch for the accuracy of this information, as we have not sold a Delta 1 in many years, and ill admit to being rusty. In fact the tech support engineer was also unfamiliar with your error message, so this amounts to a *very slightly* educated guess. I hope it helps.
How to replace battery in
The battery in the Schiller AT2 is as 12 volt 2.2 AH battery commonly available from R&d batteries, there part number is 5515. To replace it requires disasemble of the unit. Note that you should never disasemble this unit while it is plugged in. Also there are several cable that attach teh top housing to the PC board, and if you are not dillagent about not pulling these vcables apart while disasembling the unit, you can do expensive damage. Bearing that in mind, I would proceed as follows:Turn the unit upside down on top of a towed or other soft surcace to prevent scratching the soft plastic of the upper housing. around the perimeter of the case you will see several screws, i think 8 if i remember correctly. Repmove them and place them in a cup or other container. Grip the top and bottem cases together firmly and flip teh unit back upright. GENTLY lift up the top housing, and VERY CAREFULLY slide it about 3 or so inches to the left. This will expose the battery. just lift it out and replace it with the new one.Take care to reconnect the wires in the same position as teh original battery. Mis wiring the battery will cost you hundreds of dollars. The wires connect via slide on spade connectors. grip them by the connector itself(not the wire going into it) and gently rock it side to side while pulling, it will eventually come off the battery terminal. Resemble the unit in the reverse order. Plug the unit in and fully check it prior to re-installing the screws in the bottom of the unit in case you pulled a cable loose. As an alternative, you can detach the cables from the pc board and place the top cover to the side while replacing the battery, but be VERY careful with the cables. I recommend that you have a qualified individual preform this replacement for you. the cove being removed exposes high voltage, and also presents the risk of expensive damage to your unit.
V4 lead not working
The Schiller AT2 is usually very reliable in terms of the pre-amplifier, which is the section of the electronics that firsts processes the incoming patient signal. Your problem most likely lies in one of three places. Most likely is your patient cable. The best way to tell honestly is substitution. Try another known good cable. The second most likely source of complaint is your Gel electrode adapters. Open each adapter and inspect the jaws, you should see only shiny metal, no gunk, paper or corrosion. You can clean minor contamination with an alcohol soaked que tip( take care not to splash alcohol into your eyes, I've done it before doing this cleaning operation. Wear safety glasses. If the corrosion cannot be removed via cleaning, then a new adapter set is called for. As your problem is specific to a certain lead, you can try swapping the adapter from V4 to a known good lead, and see if the symptom moves to the other lead, if so a new adapter set should take care of your issue, good ones run around 40-50 dollars. If neither the cable or the adapters fix your problem, I have on infrequent occasions found defective input connectors, usually the solder connections to the main PC board. If this is the case, I would recommend sending the unit to a qualified repair shop. If work is attempted on a Schiller PC board, Schiller will no longer exchange it, and you only recourse would be to replace the board, at a price in excess of 2000.00. Otherwise, it can be exchanged for far less. We repair these boards, but they are multilayer and surface mount, and this type of soldering is not for novices.
