How to adjust the nailer, flooring is 5/8

You must put an in-line regulator at the inlet for the gun. Turn your preasure to 90 psi and use a sample board to get the fine tune adjustment at the gun. Turning down the air preasure will reduce the amount of force the anvil hits the nail with.

The nail does not go deep enough in the wood

Check to see what the regulater on your air compressor is set to as typiccaly they are set for around 50 pounds of pressure which is not enough to drive a nail all the way in wood, if it is set to low turn the adjustment up to at least 100psi and then try that if that does not work then somewhere in the air supply entering the driver there is a partial plug and this will need to be found and corrected. Hope This Helps Don

Does not seat nails ,no matter how the depth is

sounds odd. What are you shooting into, if its MDF, that is just the nature of the wood

check the pressure from the regulator, should be between 80 and 120 psi

Pulling the trigger, air is released but nailer is not engaged

Try putting a few drops of light machine oil in the air inlet fitting. If this solves the problem, install an inline air lubricator.

My hitachi framing naile has a lek somewhere and

You more than likely have a busted head cap and or exhaust valve. Without any more information about the model nailer you have it would be hard to walk you through a breakdown. If you have this information I can help.

Nailer drives one nail but driver pin doesn,t

Remove the air hose and open the nailer head section. Look for a foreign object in this are that could be jamming the drive pin. Also, make sure you are using the right size nails.

Craftsman Air Compressor. I have to press the reset button on it. Can I stride wire it?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Misc to correct category. By 'stride wire', do you mean just short across the switch? Yes you can but really you need to fix the problem. You know these things can blow up and spray shrapnel 30 feet? Google Craftsman (model) parts You may have a short in the motor, in which case, shorting it out won't fix it. https://www.google.com/search?q=Craftsman+Air+Compressor.+I+have+to+press+the+reset+button+on+it

Craftsman Air Compressor keeps breaking pistons

That model number only shows in this post. I don't see how a compressor can be 'oil-less', the friction and pressure is enormous! https://www.google.com/search?q=6.5+HP+oil-less+60-GAL+MOTOR+%22K56A28B23%22 ..

Craftsman electric stapler 193.684231

Craftsman Electric Stapler Model #193.684231 aka 9-68423. (Came out in 1984) Can take up to 5 different size staples depending on your project. One feature is the "dual power" knob at the top which allows you to use "HI" or "Low" impact depending on the size staple used. Sorry about the blurry pictures, they are sharp on my computer. Try Googling the model number or looking on EBay. "No. 6" means "Heavy Duty Wide Crown .417 size."c8164434-0938-452f-9fd4-019a95e3826d.jpegstaple chart 2-4wxaff4qwcatgv1dszqr01mm-6-2_0.jpegstapler box -4wxaff4qwcatgv1dszqr01mm-6-3.jpeg
