Somehow the lock thinks that
Take the lock back off and flip the back portion of the lock so the locking lever is reversed you have that on backwards. If that doesn't work reset the lock back to factory settings and reprogram the lock!
Red light blinking and code does not work i cant
reset lock back to factory settings and try to reprogram the lock if that don't work take it back and get a new one. If that don't work its pretty much operator error and you will have to read the directions carefully on programming the lock as they can be easily misunderstood.
How to delete add new code
Add User code: Press PC, Press Schlage, Press 1, enter new user code, repeat new user code, Function completed!
Delete user code: Press PC, Press Schlage, Press 2, enter unwanted user code, repeat unwanted user code, Function completed!

you either installed it wrong or the lock is malfunctioning Uninstall the unit and reinstall it looking for flaws along the way, making sure nothing is obstructing normal operation as per factory instructions, also make sure your door and lock hole are aligned as instructed, replace batteries, if this fails the lock has malfunctioned and there is not much you can do to repair it, please call the manufacture and see if it is under warranty still... good luck... more questions? just ask

Does my Schlage BE365-CAM BE365CAM505 have a feature that allows it to automatically lock the deadbolt without having to enter code and turn the dial? Sort of. The lock has what is called the "turnlock" feature. When enabled, you have to only push the Schlage button, then manually turn the dial. Is the keyless locked affected by condensation?
Well, it's battery operated, and batteries don't do so well in -40 degree temperatures. So, yeah, even with the batteries on the inside, a lot of cold is transferred. The cold doesn't do much for the internal mechanical movement of the lock, either.
