Water is leaking from bath tub drain
the most common reason for a drain to leak is that the plumbers putty around the drain where it meets the sink or tub has dried out and has a crack or void in it. Unscrew the drain from inside of the tub and check the plumbers putty. There is an inexpensive drain wrench sold at hardware stores, lowes and home depot that makes this an easy fix.
When i turn the cold water faucet off water still
I dont know the modle fauset you have ,but it sounds like your cartridge has turned in the valve body. It should lock into place in the valve body with a tang in the cartridge and a slot or groove in the fauset body. If the whole cartridge assembly turns in the fauset it will couse this problem.
K-1357 kohler whirlpool tub
You say that it doesn't leak during showers. The next step is to plug the drain 100% so no water will drain thru the drain assembly. Fill the unit up to just below the overflow drain and leave overnight to see if it could be leaking from the outside of the drain plug assembly or leaking from the jets/drain from the whirlpool feature. If was just recently installed was it professionally installed. Should be covered by warranty.Try this then if its not determined what the cause we will go to the next level of investigating what it could be.in it peak all around to see where the water is comming from. Use a flashlite so your not kneeling in mosture with a electrical light in your hand!!! Good Luck!
Bathtub leakes when the drain plug is activated, no leak when not
This usually is caused by a detiorated O ring that compresses to make a watertight seal at the transistion points from them drain shoe and overflow tube to the trap adapter. However it may be the trap adapter as well. Either way the best solution is to access the tub waste from the wall behind the tub drain and replace the necessary parts. Your issue is showing up because the gallons per minute/hour rate that the tub drains is far greater than the tub valve is allowed to fill the tub. This causes a greater volume of water to fill the tub waste and as such the backpessure is greater as the entire volume of water in the trap weir must be evacuated as opposed to when the tub is not plugged and the valve is ran requiring the trap weir to evacuate gradually. Some tub wates are made of metal and may have developed holes in them but they generally form along the pathway the water uses to drain. Unfortunately the only real solution is gain access to the tub wate and replace the defective part. Thanks for using Fix Ya.
Urinal won't flush
hi not being american it sounds as though its a solenoid problem, although the water supply is ok & the batteries are fine, if the solenoid is at fault then no water willpass, or possibly if there is a strainer in the water supply it may be blocked & needs cleaning out?
Hope this helps

Blockage Maintenance
# Regularly remove any hairs that get trapped in the waste plug hole. # Keep small objects such as combs, medicine bottles and toilet rolls away from places where they could accidentally fall into the toilet. # Regularly flush the wash basin and bath or shower pipe work with hot water and a disinfectant to clear soap residue and prevent build up over time. # Don’t flush away large and disposable items such as sanitary towels, nappies or product wrapping as they can become caught in the drainage pipe. # Do not dispose of waste food scraps and cuttings down the kitchen sink. These are much better composted. If any items do fall into the sink pull the vegetable material out of the plug hole, do not try to poke through as you could impact the blockage making it harder to remove. # Never dispose of cooking fats down the drain system. As they hit cold water they will solidify. If there is absolutely no alternative you should dilute and emulsify the fats by mixing them with hot water and of detergent. Keep the water running for a minute after you have done this to keep a clear water flow. # For complete peace of mind, particularly if you are running a business you can request a regular drain surveys and get your drainage system checked regularly by a CCTV drain inspection service. This will give early warning of any potential blockages and also enables you to keep an eye on the structural condition of the drainage pipe work.
