How do i get the ice maker to make more ice?

Set freezer temp to lowest number, use "ice plus" feature. (it goes back to non-ice plus after about a day on it's own though) Dump excess ice into freezer storage bin if it gets full to keep it making more ice if needed.

My LG fridge model LFC 23760 ST is 1 yr old and

It could be that the cooling area is being restricted by something. Remove the front panel and take a look to make sure everything looks ok. You should have a warranty and I would sure use that before you have more problems...

Inside lights won't shut off, I checked door

On disconnection of the switch does the light go off. You must check this out. If so the switch itself can be faulty.
So make a test and confirm.
If the light stays on then there is a short in the relay/drive which could be in the control panel.

2 year old LG refrigertor

Your run capacitor is bad which is the plug attached to your compressor or you have a leak in the system. If your compressor is not running after you put a capacitor on then your compressor is fried. Good luck. Rate me if I helped you!

Water very slow coming out of dispenser filter

The water is switched on through the valve. You can have a restriction in the valve. You can also have a restriction or freezing in the filter. Most problems is the water pressure going into the back of fridge. Hope this helps,

Our LG LFC23760 was delivered

I believe that you fridge is anew one and if what you explained is true you must immeditely make a complaint in the LG's service website. If the door is rubbing it is not a good sign as the product may be damaged on transit and could have also resulted in gas leak. So if there is any such problem you must ask your dealer for explanation or replaement of the piece. make this complaint very seriously before you get this tampered by an unauthorised or DIY.
I hope you get me right and hope this helps you to decide. Good day

The fridge has been leaking

Hello,

There are only three places where your fridge may be leaking: The seal around the door, the icemaker in the back, or the drip pan at the bottom of the fridge.
  1. Check the gasket. Make sure that there is no gum or any dirt sticking on the rubber gasket of your fridge. Wash the rubber door seals using warm water and soap. Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly as lubricant. If there are any cracks on the rubber gasket, replace them.
  2. Check the door. Ensure that the door closes by itself. If not, your fridge may be tilted too far on the front and thus causing leaks. To fix this, remove the door guard at the bottom of the door. After that, have someone push or lean the fridge back and put some wood, book or anything under the fridge to shoulder some of the pressure that the legs of the refrigerator are receiving. This will allow the door to close by itself and prevent condensation, which causes leaks on your fridge.
  3. Adjust the legs. Some fridge allows you to use a screwdriver to adjust the height of the fridge on the legs itself. Some have a special screw that allows you to adjust it. Check your manual for more information.http://www.fixya.com/PostAnswer.aspx?thid=5121659&prdid=94713&ref=unsl
  4. Check the drip pan. Your drip pan maybe misaligned or has a hole in it, which causes leaks. Get a flashlight and remove the drip pan carefully. Clean it with soapy water and make sure there are no holes in it by filling it up again and searching for any leaks. If there are holes, buy a new drip pan.
In summary,
Check the side panels and the seals around the door for beads of "sweat." This could indicate a condensation problem.
Check the floor. A puddle there could indicate a missing or cracked drip pan, or a leak in the water line that feeds your ice maker.
Check for water seeping from the front of the freezer or the refrigerator. This could indicate your defrost drain is plugged or your ice maker is leaking.

Take care.

The refrigerator has stopped running.

Hi there,
A fridge is divided by many parts. if the main motor dies then the whole fridge will not function. In your case the freezer is still working but the rest isnt. Still, i think you should have it checked out by a repairman to determine any inside problem and to avoid any future trouble.
