How do I unlock the key panel

Opening the door while the oven is cooking will greatly shorten the life of the door switches and lead to failure. Always hit "Stop" first unless the recipe calls for it.The instructions for the child lock are in the owner's manual. To set the lock, press Stop/Clear, then hold the "0" pad for more than four seconds. You will hear two beeps and the display will show "LOCKED".To unlock, hold the "0" pad for more than four seconds. You will hear two beeps and the display will no longer show "LOCKED".

Samsung microwave says-SE- but won't respond otherwise

"SE" means you have a defective membrane keypad. With your full model number, I could have given you detailed instructions and parts numbers. But without that, I'll have to just be generic. If your model's membrane keypad is available as a separate part, that's usually the cheapest but most involved way to fix it. Here is a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically involved. If it's not available separately, then you can replace either the control panel frame assembly, which comes with a new keypad on it, or the entire control box / controller assembly. There is a a YouTube video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes. 40716d4.jpg Some connectors have a lock. positivelock.jpg You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here. We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Difference between convention and oven

The difference between a convection microwave and an oven is very little. It is similar to using a fan assisted oven and should be treated as such when working out temperatures.
One may use standard containers, metal, glass etc. as long as the microwave part is not switches on!.
Hope that answers your question.

How to use mc what

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers and Driver downloads as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

TRY TO HEAT SOMETHING AND MIRO STAY FOR 5 SEC ONLY

The magnetron (the part that heats the food) may be bad or the circuitry to the magnetron may have burned out. Basically my advice is that if you have no electrical expertise, it isn't worth fixing. The magnetron if bad, costs almost as much as a new microwave. If you open it up (make sure it has been unplugged for a few hours and don't seen any obvious burnt parts (including a fuse and the diodes), then most likely the magnetron is done and a new microwave is the way to go.

Let me know how this works out for you.

Scratches from cleaning with a paper towel

Paper towel can be quite abrasive. Use DeBruce Polish with a soft terry towel. We use DeBruce Polish on all of our stainless steel. DeBruce Polish also works on glass cook tops. We get DeBruce Polish at debrucepolish.com.

I have this unit and it just stopped working.

If the model number is correct, there is a 125V, 20 AMP line fuse inside the microwave. Its usually mounted at the point where the power cord enters the back of the unit. Unfortunately, you will need to uninstall the oven, UNPLUG it and remove the exterior case to access. The case comes off in various ways depending on manufacture and model. I found this illustration at searspartsdirect.com based on the model number you listed this question under:

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/showSubComp.pd?imageUrl=http%3a%2f%2fc.searspartsdirect.com%2flis_png%2fPLDM%2f50026410-00007.png

The line fuse is listed as item 8 (part number 3B74133K). There is a another fuse listed as item 2 (part number 3B72974C), but this is a thermal fuse for the fan motor.

You can usually purchase a box of fuses at a hardware store for just a little more than what the manufacturer charges for a single fuse. 125V, 20AMP Ceramic Slow Blow fuses are recommended. If you wish to order on line, use the part numbers to search by comparison as the model number you listed this question under is not available at all the websites I have provided. The parts, however, ARE listed.

If you have any questions, or need additional assistance troubleshooting, please post back and let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

NOTE: Make sure you take any resistance readings with the microwave UNPLUGGED and the component under test isolated (removed) from the circuit. To answer your initial question, "yes", these ovens can blow a fuse by simply sitting idle. This can occur from any power fluctuations, brown outs, voltage spikes, etc. Or, it could be the symptom of a component that may have failed. If you find any of the internal fuses blown and replace it, only to have it blow again, you have a more significant problem than a simple blown fuse.
