SR333LP pool heater continuously cycles ON/OFF, the fan stays on

The age and over all condition of the heater would help. Try removing the Thermal Reg and see if it smooths out. If the heater responds, replace the Thermal Reg with a new one.

Get several codes , when i turn it on all the lights come on and display has a 888, then a 180. all goes off, receive a code sf 1, then an r4

Check your stack flu sensor. Sensor can not be jumped. As soon as the heater fires hold down the pool or spa button until the stack temp appears. At 500 degrees the heater will shut off giving a code. The heater should not restart. I would also check for wire damage based on the description of your issue and the board restarting on it own. You may also have damage to the "user interface board" , hard to say with out on site trouble shooting.

Max e therm heater makes loud noise at start up and does not stay on? What could it be?

Water flow might be the issue. Check the Thermal Reg or any other external by-pass.

IF THE Bottom Outer Insulation Blanket,Bottom Inner Insulation, Top Insulation,Lower Enclosure Insulation Top Outer Insulation Blanket so on are wet can they be dried out or need to be replaced.

wet blankets are suspect when dried out as the water affects the insulation of the heating medium when a life is considered against the cost of a replacement, a new blanket will win hands down every time.

I have a hayward SR333Lp that ignites for 5 seconds and then displays service heater. No leds on back of board to indicate cause

Today's gas appliances are designed to shut off when combustion problem is detected. For example if burner parts are dirty of clogged, the gas valve continues releasing gas, but not all the gas is burned. This caused potential explosion risk, with unburned gas in the combustion chamber and flueway.Call service tech to clean combustion parts, check pilot or igniter alignment, check gas control valve, and gas pressure, and bleed air out of gas line if needed.Search internet for product manual. Product number appears on label, and then add .pdf to search parameter. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gene_9f0ef4df2f9897e7

I have a Starite heater, natural gas. I replaced the thermistor for the second time in two years. The problem again has returned with the R6 code. The heater just doesn't seem to get hot enough. Shoul

you might want to add a bypass to the heater and not let the full return water through it this is called temp rise to slow the water down so it gets hotter
