Leakin water pump
the water pump on a car has a bearing that blocks a hole when working. When the pump goes, it pulls the bearing from the hole and leaks. This is very common, and it was made this way for pin-pointing the issue. The water pump should be replaced.

How to separate motor from
Hi,
To do that you need to take the pump apart...take the bolts out that hold the motor to the pump and then unscrew the impeller from the pump shaft....
All this is not easy and will be very difficult if you are not experience and handy with your hands...
getting the impeller off in one piece can be the toughest part...

Cleaned and drained, reapplied air pressure-now
Hi,
The check valve or foot valve which ever you have... has sand in it and it will not seal off and hold the water back....
Install another check valve by the pump, but make sure you also have a way to still get the air out and get it primed...
may have to pull all of the pipe to get it working...

Pump cycles frequently
Your tank needs more air in it ... do you have a air valve standard tank or do you have a tank with a rubber bladder? I suspet the former and your air valve is sticking.
Shut off the pump, drain the tank (which will replace water with air) and then restart the pump.

Weed trimmer (2 wheeled) screeches.
All questions need full 'make model (what is is)' as first 3 words please. Very often, issues like this are a known fault and users tell the fix.
You need to track down where the screech is coming from?
Wheels
Drive Belt
Bearings
Piston rings
Or it may be battery operated?
