Me too! My plants grew too close to the bulbs and one burned out. Now the on/off doesn't work. On all the time.

If my guess is correct, it's a high pitched whining noise,...yes? The only noise I've ever heard from any of my pumps was when one of the bearings in the motor went bad. It screamed until I replaced the pump. Most pumps can be easily disassembled to make sure everything is clean and clear of obstructions. I'd try that first and then replace the pump if it doesn't help. I'm no expert, just from my own experiences. Hope it helps.

You can artificially pollinate the flowers by taking a q-tip and gently rubbing the inside of the flower to gather pollen. Then take the q-tip and insert it into other flowers. Hope this helps but it seems you either need some bees or q-tips to help this. Q-tips are safer.

I clip the biggest leaves and let it grow smaller leaves as it goes

The dill should require roughly the same parameters to sprout as the other plants in the AreoGarden. Perhaps fresh seed would help.

There's a float and a magnetic switch in the fill tube; it's probably blocked by a bit of debris or a root and keeping the switch from accurately indicating a low water condition, producing the constant blinking.

The pump issue could be a few things.
1. the pump may be failing. It's a small magnetic drive pump, and the impeller (the small shaft with a rotating plastic blade inside the motor) may have worn out. Usually you can tell if you have a motor that requires a few taps on it to get it running.
2. the electrical contacts that connect at the back of the bowl and the lamp arm might be dirty, or not connecting properly. Jostling the unit may be getting it to connect.
3. certain models cycle the pump and it might be in the off position. I assume you've noticed it going on and off if you have that model, so I'm assuming this is not the problem.
4. the pump will eventually fail and need replacing. If this one is 3 years old that may be the problem. Properly cleaning the impeller regularly will keep it working the longest, but these types of pumps have a limited lifespan because the run nearly constantly and heat and wear attack the epoxy encapsulated motor, the shaft/impeller, and the walls of the impeller well.

I have the same problem. The fuse is good but nothing works except the pump runs.

Firstly, till you solve this problem, start watering the petunias manually else they may not survive. Just sprinkle a little bit of water on each pot.
Secondly, is the water flowing with a water pump or just by gravity? If by pump then check the pump if it is pumping water right. If by gravity then check if the water channel is blocked or choked.

we unplugged the aero garden to move to another room, when we plugged it in again the pump is running but the light didn't come back on. We check the lights and the connections and it still didn't go back on. Help Linda

mind did this i held the light button down for 5 secs til light went off the reselected the seed type and all was well i discovered this when i changed seed selection when light on some seetings pumped worked others not guess its memory gets confused

Sounds like it could be Nitrogen defficiency ..

Did you try to go to www.aerogarden.com. And call them to see if they hade a pump for your garden.

You can do either, if you purchase a new seed kit you know the varities have been tested and grow in an AeroGarden. If you plant yourself, but sure to look for small or dwarf varities and lean toward water loving plants.
What problems did you have with your other herbs, not basil?

You can clean the bowl/basecontacts with a baking soda and vinegar. Then make sure the connection is secure when you placing the bowl. If the pump does not work after that contact Aerogrow for a replacment pump.

Hi kadoolittle, some pods do not sprout but can be return for a replacement.
