How do you replace a flow switch in a spa, or hot tub
turn off the power to the spa. remove the cabinet under the topside remote to expose the equipment compartment. You should see the flow switch, it's usually a threaded 3/4" plug with a single grey wire coming out of it. Most of them are threaded into a tee or a special transparent fitting. If the water level in the spa is above the flow switch, you may have to drain the spa down unless you're very fast about getting the new switch in. Unthread the old switch and thread the new one in. Follow the wire on the old one to the spa pack. You'll have to remove the screws on the cover to expose the circuit board. Follow that wire into the spa pack to see where on the circuit board that it is plugged in. It may be good to run the new wire to have in place as soon as you unplug the old one you can install the new one with no question as to where it plugs in.
Reinstall the cover on the spa-pack and turn the main power back on. Make sure that the arrows on the new flow switch are facing the correct direction (direction of flow). Once you have the spa on and it starts back up, run everything to check for leaks and proper operation. If the flow switch was the only problem, all your faults should be cleared and you should be in good shape. If there are no leaks, you can reinstall the cabinet panel.
The new switch should already have teflon tape on the threads, if not, use teflon tape, apply the tape in the direction as if you were threading a nut onto the threads. You only need a few wraps of teflon tape, too much can crack the fitting you threat the new flow switch in to.

My hot tub just stpped working, its getting power
first check all GFCIs to make sure you do have power at the spa. The spa powerpack can have a gfi there as well.
The only way to tell if a pump is bad is by testing the voltage going from the spa pack to the pump, or you may be able to feel that the pump motor is heating up. It could be a bad motor, debris keeping the impeller from moving, or a power problem. You'll have to do process of elimination.
I got in the tub one night after the filter had
at pump housing is an upper/lower bleeder ( about 1/2 inch bolt ) unscrew the bolt letting air out until water runs out than tighten turn on unit and loosen bleeder again bleed out any leftover air tighten
Is it more cost affective to leave the hot tub on
it depends on how often you use it and if you have a good cover with thermal value. If you use the spa more than once a week, then it's probably more cost effective to leave it at temperature. If its more like once or twice a month, then probably better to lower the temp. My spa uses about $30 per month of power leaving it at 104 degrees.
Won't heat
it's very easy to install if you disconnect one wire at a time from the old one and immediately install it on the new one. I recommend taking a digital photo of the old board before you disconnect anything to have a reference in case something goes awry.
No jet flow hot springs highlife 1990
you might have an air lock, when you first start filling the spa, start the water running in the skimmer first. that should force air out of the pump and should pick up prime right away. if not, you may have a valve problem.
My spa leaks
Good luck, I'm in the process of chipping away at the foam 3 days so far, still have not found leak, Tried everything dyed water, but with the way they do the STUPID foam the water could be dripping 3ft away from leak... **** poor design and the can foam to fill it back up is gonna cost a small fortune,,
Relocated tub will not come on.
there is a main fuse usually either on the right hand side or on the bottom of the main control panel, try checking this, do you get anything at all on the topside display??
My dream maker spa does not work. there is
I have the same problem with a one week old x400. It was working fine last night but about 8 hours later water temp has dropped 4 degrees and the pump will not turn on, I can hear the relay in the control box make a ticking sound when I press the pump icon on the control center but the pump does not start. Is there a fuse in the control box?
Why does the breaker switch off as soon as i turn on the heat
Two possible reasons- the circuit that the pump is connected to (the plug it is on) has too much power draw from other appliances running on that same circuit. Or, there is a short in the pump, causing it to draw excessive power and trigger the breaker.
Is this a recent development? Is the pump on a shared circuit or does it have its own breaker?
No heat sensor
you need a new high limit sensor for your control box. What is the model number of the control box?
