Dream Maker Spas leak

This means one of your top jets is leaking. Firstly try Fix A Leak this will stop any leak up to an 1/8". If this does not help there will be more difficult work in store. Each jet sits in a jet body, these jet bodies are behind the tubs shell, you'll need to get in behind them to see which one is leaking. This can be difficult as they are often covered in insulation foam.

I have a dreamaker 8003 xspa that has worked perfectly over the many years that I have had it. The other day I noticed that the water had lowered 6 inches overnight an the water was coming out of the

1. Check equipment like pump, heater, blower, light fixture, for leaks.2. Remove side panels closest to the are the leak is showing and inspect jets, plumbing in that area for leaks. If insulation is foam, remove any water saturated foam and follow it to the source of leak.3. If the leak is in plumbing and is very slow, sometimes it can be resolved with "stop leak" products.

Sensors on my dream maker spa is not working

If you have an Ohm meter you could test the sensors to see if you're getting the correct resistance. It is most likely that they have failed. Most Dream Maker Spas have Balboa sensors which aren't too expensive, it might be easier to replace them.

Foam in hot tub cover broke

The foam in there is available at most insulation or drywall supply houses. It is used for insulating concrete walls, the cover is probably 3 inches thick so you may have to buy 2 sheets to get the thickness you want. The only issue is the cost of the foam may not be much less than a new cover.

I have a Breammaker X-Spa_dition.

I just started my up for the season, and the same thing happened. I removed the side panel and on the control box attached to it are a wiring plug and wiring jack similar to a phone jack plug. If you unplug these and clean them with some alcohol, it fixes the problem. Sometimes dust and small debris gets in there and interferes with the connection. It's a good idea to do this once a year. Hope this helps!

Hi,This is common when your Heater element is bad.The friction of the water moving through the pump typically will raise the water to around 80.

Can I use vinegar in a hot tub as a descaler

I would advise against vinegar. It is a weak acid which may have an adverse affect on your plumbing, spa & jet surfaces even if you intend on draining the spa for cleaning. I doubt it will be able to cut the mineral build-up anyway. Here are two ideas Scale preventer or Jet Cleaner which work well on acrylic spa's. Just check with Roto-Dreamaker first to see if they will be okay on their plastic. If you want to try something else before buying those try using a mild non-abrasive, non-sudsing cleaner with a soft cloth or nylon type scrubber to the build-up. Also try baking soda either option should be okay for the plastic. The cause of the build up is not usually owner related but the water chemical composition in your area. Your local pool/spa store will have the best advice for your local water chemistry.

I have a dream maker and my heater will not turn

Dream Makers do not have traditonal heaters. You may have an airlock. Look for a plug on top of the pump or some part of the plumbing, loosen to let the air out.

Dream 500+ mutimedia remote does not work. Was

Hello,I am sorry that you dropped your remote. Most likely you broke something in it when it dropped. There is only a couple things you can do. Number one, make sure battery in the remote did not get loose. If you have checked that real good then it most likely is something on the circuit board that got loose. You could also take it into a regular computer repair store or tv repair store as those kind of places (electronic shops) might be able to fix it.Other option is a few sites I am listing below ( links to copy and past in browser) and you can read them and find your unit and order another one.http://www.buycheapr.com/us/result.jsp?ga=us6&q=dreambox+remotehttp://www.nextag.com/Dream-Multimedia--500081/multimedia/brand-htmlhttp://www.sateuropa.co.uk/product_overview.asp?prod=Dream-Multimedia-DreamBox-Remote-Handset-%28Official%29---Black&id=1101&catid=1&subcat=65I hope of these site helped you. If the SLP or SL Message is Alternating with the Water Temperature on the Display, the Spa is Operating in the Sleep Heating Mode.

If the SLP or SL Message is ON Solid (Not Flashing) on the Display, the Spa is Operating in the Sleep Heating Mode, but there is No current water temperature because the Spa is between Filter Cycles.

Hope this helps.

Hi there,
please try to double check the water level. Alot of these spas are very sensitive to the water level. One other thing you can check is the terminal board connections. Some times these burn out. Let me know if any of these helps.

My jets wont work and

Jet motor into heat caused the excessive electrical voltage, and it usually occurs due to diode leakage as a filter voltage current (Amperes) so that high voltage current menorobos undirected, if the let the capacitor (elco) will be melted and broken, but usually the damage will be saved elco by the resistor. Sedangakan presence of vibration or the click caused by the transistor (as a regulator of power and heat) could not withstand the heat so that the voltage entering the transformer changes or up and down and the transformer will be damaged if allowed to melt.

Yes, the jets will run anytime the heater is operational. This is neccessary to keep the plumbing from melting, and also to evenly distribute the heated water. Most hot tubs only take 4-5 hours to heat up, but the easy spa takes very long because they use a very small heating element. Usually only 1.5KW.

Recently it rained here extensively,

FIRST AND FOREMOST, SHUT IT OFF AND DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO USE IT UNTIL IT IS REPAIRED BY A PROFESSIONAL!

1. From your description, the spa is NOT wired properly with a ground fault protection circuit or the ground fault circuit is not working.

2. The voltage in the water is likely coming from a failed heater and it will likely have to be replaced.

I get a shock when

This is not normal in what so ever ...the issue is a current short somewhere on a device that has contact with the water ..and is powered ..a clue may be the voltage ..so if one of the devices that makes it work and get in contact with the water uses 55 V than you have the answer about which one ...I lean to think it is the water pump or the motor from it ...cause the heater should use the max voltage ...but the motor may have the voltage split if it has more than one speed ..so ..you should be careful and do not play with these things cause they are ..very deadly ...get some professional help and fix it ...until someone whom does not know ...make some buzzing diving ..
have a nice day ..
