My Dream Maker spa won't turn on there is power to

Mine 2010 dream maker stopped working all of a sudden. I could hear a click as if it was trying to start. I checked the fuse and it was blown. I replaced it for $3.33 and all is working now.

Does the tube need to be full of water above the jets for the power to turn on/off

when ever you fill the spa always fill it where the filter goes on just put the hose inside and let it do its thing filling up. After the skimmer is filled you should be able to fire it up, but don't run it with the pump dry or not primed you'll ruin it.

Will a flow switch stop the tub of any operation

Is the board getting power, is the control lighting up?Do you see any error codes on the top side control? Improper flow will give you an error code, caused by flow issues or a faulty flow switch. Make sure all gate valves are open and the water can flow freely. If not then check your Hi Limit sensor. This is the overheat safety sensor if it fails the tub will not function at all.

The spa won't shut off. It keeps overheating

Check the filtration cycle. I have seen several hot tubs over the years where the owners have accidentally changed the filter cylce duration without realising.

If the filter cycle duration is set too long it may/will overheat.

It's also possible that you may also have a problem with the PCB. This would need to be checked by a spa technician who knows the system well.

Regards,
Ian.

I have the big ez spa I cannot get the SL setting to change and stay on anyother setting.

Hi as you know you are in the Sleep mode of your pump and filter settings. To change the setting to a different setting you must click on the temperature button followed by the light button. This will put you in the filter selection mode once there use the temperature buttons to toggle between the options. For more information you can look to this link. We have a dreammaker spa, how do we drain it? the

The Fantasy has a drain located in the toekick of the spa. You have to first remove the drain cap, attach a hose if you wish, spin the outer black ring counter clockwise to start the water flow, then pull the outer ring out away from the tub to increase the drain to full flow.
I understand that a screw driver is often needed to pull the outer ring out to achieve full flow. Therefore, I suggest another method. Take a garden hose and place it in front of the jet while the spa jets are on. This will force water flow thru the hose and prime the hose. Once you see water running from the other end of the hose, drop the hose in front of the spa jet into the footwell and as long as the loose end is lower than the end in the footwell, a siphon will drain the spa as fast as the spa drain will. Remember to turn off electric to the spa once you have established a siphon. You may have to bucket the last bit of water in the footwell. Goodluck.

My spa is at 89 and its set for 104 and the pump will no cut on whats the problem

Are you saying that it stops at 89°? It will not go any higher, even though you have the set temperature at 104°? If that is what you are stating, then you probably have a bad temperature sensor.

My spa is at 89 and its set for 104 and the pump will not cut on what is the problem

You may be in economy mode. Economy only heats the water during a programmed filter cycle. You want it to be in standard mode which turns on the hot tub once the water is 2 degrees below the desired temperature. There should be a mode or program button on your topside. One some systems you'll have to hit prog/mode button then the temp up button to change the mode. There is also a sleep mode. Never used it not sure what it's for.

Image739 hot tub turn power on and error code 5n comes on panel board what is code 5n and where is reset button

OK, 5n is meant to say SN meaning sensor. This is refering to your temperature sensor, and means that the computer thinks that the sensor has failed.Check to see that it is plugged into the board completely, then verify that it is not chewed up by a mouse or rat. Both of these are the most often seen problems.Beyond that feel free to email me if you still need [email protected]

Dream maker ez spa has power but jets won't turn on. Fuse is fine and unit is getting power

Thanks for the question! It could be several different issues. First, It's possible the topside jet button is malfunctioning and may need to be replaced. Is there any type of error message flashing on the topside display? Second, The pump may be bad, If it's a 2 speed pump it's possible to still circulate the water and maintain temp while the pump is malfunctioning. Depending on your level of "do it yourselfness" you may attempt to troubleshoot and repair it on your own. Checking for an error code on your topside is the best 1st step to take. I wish I could be of more assistance however, without being able to inspect it myself those are the best suggestions I can muster. Good luck & I hope I was able to provide at least some assistance. =)

6 month old jacuzzi hot tub has started leaking intermittently , any help here to solve this problem

if its all wet, dry it out with a fan and then start your search, if it's under a pump, it is a shaft seal, a fairly cheap fix, i charge 20 to do it and I do some preventive measures to the pump so it can be serviced in the future without damage (smart). but it also might be a loose jet nut, they can be tricky to get at, but if carefully done can be tightened with a dull screwdriver and a hammer tapping on the edge of the nut. Hope this gets ya running again. ask if you need more help, and don't forget to vote if i was of help
