What I did was to unplug thr phone line first, then I disconnected the power supply from the base and lastly, I took the battery out of the handset and left everything disconnected for 24 hours and when I reconnected it up, the blinking stopped. TRIED POWERING OFF-PROBLEM STARTED 2/WEEKS AGO.
