Craftsman 4 Cycle Blower/Vac - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Craftsman gas blower (leaf) stops
It could be something as simple as adjusting the carburetor. (if you have the adjusting tool) otherwise it sounds like there may be some debris in the carburetor. After running for a little while, it blocks the fuel jet. Then when you shut it off, it falls back somewhere in the carburetor. I'd suggest cleaning the carburetor and draining the fuel out and putting new gas in.

How to change fuel line on craftsman blower
Before you start take a picture of where the old lines are connected to the carb and the primer bulb for future reference.
To replace the line pull the spark plug wire from the plug. Remove the old line from the tank and remove the fuel filter from the line. Take new larger line and cut it on a 45 degree angle/or trim as necessary so you can grip it from inside the tank and pull it into the tank. Perform the same operation on the smaller line as well. Be sure to leave enough line for the fuel filter to reach the bottom of the tank. Install the fuel filter. The other small line is a vent line and only needs to come inside the tank not go to the bottom in the fuel.
Good luck.

NOT GETTING GAS ON SEARS BLOWER
I have a craftsman 25cc blower. It is not getting fuel in the cylinder. I replaced gaskets and even the carb, no luck. When i took off the intake to replace the gasket, i pulled the start line and noticed the piston does not drop far enough to allow fuel in the cylinder.

Both lines from carb. are
Thin line is the fuel intake and is attached to the fuel filter. The other is the return, and should be placed on the tube below the primer bulb of the carburetor.

My craftsman 32cc leaf blower won't stay
Check age of gas. Cannot be more than 30 days old.
Make sure to use fresh gas w/synthetic 2-cycle oil @ 40:1 ratio
(1 gal.) Gas to 3.2 oz. Oil). Do not use old or stale oil/gas mixture. Always
use the proper oil/gas mix. If you do not, your engine will suffer rapid,
permanent damage.May need to clean or replace carburetor.

Got a craftsman leaf blower cranks up and runs fine for about 5 mins then starts losing rpms
ITs hard to diagnose these things over the internet, it could be so many things. Is this a gradual loss of power? If so; Im sorry to say; that it sounds like its losing compression as it warms up. It is not cost effective to repair the unit. If the loss of power is more sudden it could be a failing ignition module. Ive even seen spark plugs that quit working when they get hot.To test this you will need a proper spark tester, laying the spark plug against the head will not provide an accurate assesment, and a can of carb cleaner. Run the unit with the air box cover and filter removed till it fails and immediately give a shot of carb cleaner in the carb and restart. If it starts right up it could be fuel related. IF it doesnt start right up then quickly test for spark. If no spark then its likely the ignition module. If it wont run on the extra fuel and it has spark then it has probably lost compression.

I've put a new sparkplug
Put a spoon full of gasoline straight down the plug hole. Reinstall the plug, if it starts then you obviously have a fuel problem. You may need a new kit installed in the carburetor. Easy fix.
