Sounds like the digitizer isn't working. You can purchase a replacement online and install it yourself.

It sounds like you have a defective digitizer. This can be repaired by replacing the digitizer which sits on top of the lcd screen. This task is best left to a professional.

I know this post is old but the easiest way to do that is to go into FILE EXPLORER.. and find your PICTURE folder it will show you all the pics on the device tap one of the pics once and drag down until all pics on device r yellow then tap and hold until menu pops u tap COPY once u have them copied as one file go back into MY DEVICE and find STORAGE CARD scroll all the way to the bottom then without touching another pic already there tap and hold the blank bottom then click PASTE and wait all pics will be transferred

voldown, central key and reset botom at the same time, then text appear, choose number 1 for restore manufacturer default pressing volup or 2 for restore munufacturer default and format moviMand pressing voldown and wait a few seconds.

I suggest taking it to your compaany store but before you go to the store and have them tell u the phone is water damaged, you can save yourself the trip by looking for yourself. There should be a little square located in the back of you phone right below the battery and a little square locatedd on the batery where it connects to the phone. If the phone has water damage then the littl e squares should be red if they dont have water damage, the squares should be white with a plaid kind of design.

there is a problem with the headphone jack, there is a super small switch that tells the phone if something is plugged in or not, it is stuck thinking there is something, putting the jack in and out repeatedly can make it work again, if not you can contact htc and they will repair because it should be covered.

Back up all your files
And do a Hard Reset on your HTC Touch Pro

1. While the HTC Touch Pro is off, press and hold Talk/Send, End and Power until you see a message on the screen about deleting all data.
2. Release the buttons after the message appears.
3. Press the Volume Up button.

This means that there is something sticking on the simcard bay. That is the reason why you are getting the error when you put in the simcard. This cause by water moisture or any foreign object went inside the phone. You might need to take apart the phone and blow compressed air to the board. Firmware/software reinstallation might be needed also. You might need assistance from phone tech if you are not aware on how to open the phone.

Try cleaning the speaker using a needle or something small and sharp and take out any dirt you could see.
Or if you still think that it is not clean then switch the handset of and take of the cover and clean it that way.

Make sure your WIFI is turned off when trying to download a MMS message. Most carriers do not allow MMS data to be transfered over WIFI. Your phone will us it's cellular data connection.

There are several sites that can give you the codes for unlocking mobile

I don't think there is anything else you can do. Since the HTC TOUCH PRO is not accepting the correct password, then resetting is the only way to escape this.

Connect the HTC TOUCH PRO to your computer and try to backup your data so that you can perform the hard reset.

You can set any pictures to be your wallpaper(provided that it's on the phone already).

• go to file explorer, then click on the picture you want to set as the wallpaper. Then press menu, choose Set as Today background.
• Touch Flo enabled: You need to go to the touch 3D settings.. its on the scroll touch bar after weather and internet etc. Thats where you change the wallpaper

• If you have disabled touchflo, go to start-> settings -> today. There you can change themes, and at the bottom check the "Use this image as background" box and it will let you browse to your photos/pics.

The HTC Touch Pro 2 is a pretty good phone with only a couple of exceptions. And, the antenna is one of those exceptions. When you hold the phone in your hand while using it, your hand actually covers the antenna - which is not a quality part to begin with. (The antenna - not your hand)

Even repairing the antenna (if that is in fact the problem) can be expensive. From a cost effective standpoint, replacing the phone would be the better option. (I take it that you don't carry insurance for your phone on your Verizon account?)

If you don't carry insurance, there may be an alternative. (This happened to me with a HTC Mogul - Sprint) Note: Keep in mind, I've been in the cellular business since 1979. I'm 50 years old and I don't play when it comes to getting customer service to 'tow-the-line'.

After calling Sprint Customer Service and receiving the same answer you did with Verizon, I informed the Service Rep that since I had no phone that could be used on the Sprint Network, I'd just like to cancel my Sprint account.

I was immediately transferred to another department (a Tier 2 supervisor) where the first question I was asked was, "What do we need to do to keep you as a Sprint customer?"

I told them I had a very expensive defective phone and, as I was unable to use it, I no longer needed Sprint Service. We worked out a deal where I would upgrade my phone to a HTC Touch Pro and Sprint would discount the new phone $200. A new Touch Pro arrived the next day in the mail. (And I sold the defective Mogul on eBay for parts for $50.) In the end, I ended up paying $50 for a new (upgraded) Touch Pro.

Since repairing your phone would cost more than the benefit, I'd suggest contacting Verizon and threatening to cancel your account unless they coughed up a new phone at a greatly reduced discount.

If the phone you have needs costly repair (which wouldn't really fix the problem anyway due to the poor quality of the replacement part - the internal antenna) and you can talk Verizon out of a new phone at a substantial discount (maybe through their upgrade program) I'd try that.

well that points to the flex cable. it may need replacement as it is usually the number one cause of such. but first have the set opened and checked to confirm that it is not simply loose and if that doesn't work out, have it replaced. this is how it looks like and you may even purchase it there or here.

Like if you take the game from www.getjar.com, you will find a tab of compatible phones, down the list if you find your cellphone model, then it will install on your phone, otherwise it will give error,
