Too much chain oil
If you take the side cover off for the bar there should be a tube of some sort that usually has a tip to limit oil amount it could be broke...
How do i get the
unless the channels are clogged with saw dust or you are out of bar oil the oiling system in all chainsaws is automatic. Can you verify there is bar oil in the reservoir through the window on the tank? If you have used the saw for awhile it may be worth removing the bar and cleaning the oiling system. Good luck!
I do not have a
the bar should also raise and lower when you apply tension onto the blade - one way or the other it shoudl allow you to tighten the blade.,.. If it is still loose after that, you may be more safe to grab a new blade if this is from wear or use.
Also another fyi: If you get these blades hot and too tight, when they cool, they can warp your bar... I always loosen the chain on mine (per owners manual) immediately after use so it will not do any damage when it cools down..
Did you try to find an owners manual at black and decker dot com?
Best regards

What type of oil does my black and decker chainsaw
You can use SAE 30 weight motor oil or bar and chain oil. Press the bulb on the resevoir cap 2x before each cut making sure the saw is pointed down and to the right to let the gravity feed oiling system work properly.
Although battery is charged the chainsaw seems to
You need to check the voltage at the motor connections when running. Make sure the chain is not overly tight--you should be able to move it by hand, and that it is well oiled at all times. The battery seems to be ok if it runs a companion tool. Make sure the chain is properly sharpened. Hope this helps!
Chain keeps coming off
Lay the chain out on a table or bench and check for bent/broken links, broken teeth, or damaged drive teeth. Inspect the bar for any damage and clean the small oil passages in the drive end. Inspect the drive sprocket for any tooth damage. Run the motor without the bar and chain for a few moments. Oil should ooze out of the small port in the motor case where the bar fits. If nothing, inspect the oil pump and lines. If oils ok, then reassemble the chain and bar making sure the bottom run of teeth cut toward you. Assemble the cover and mounting nuts finger tight. Tighten the chain up to the lower bar, but not so tight that it can't be turned by hand. Tighten the mounting nuts and recheck tension. Make sure the chain is properly sharpened as a dull chain will quickly loosen due to excess heat when cutting. Check the chain oiling by running the bar tip near some cardboard for a few moments--it should throw off a thin line of oil. Hope this helps!
Blade wont move
there is a broken gear in the gear reduction box. (explain:) the motor spins at a high rpm, the chain moves at a 1/4 or less rpm than the motor. a series of gears reduces the speed, which in turn creates torque, allowing the saw to have the force to keep cutting without stopping. One of the gears is broken or a keyway on a shaft is sheared...as far as i know, no electrical power tools are rebuildable. it's a safety thing (electric shock if reassembled wrong...they are priced for replacement...get a new one...
