My wife has significant hearing problems in both ears. About 4 years ago, we invested in wireless headphones for both of our TV's. Problem solved. Now, she can take her hearing aids out, put on the headphones and everything is fine. Although I have no hearing issues, I too sometimes use them with great improvement - especially in British movies or where there is a lot of background noise. I highly, highly recommend them. We have two pair of Senheisers which we use constantly (mostly her). About $100 for each set. If you have a fairly new TV, hookup is easy, and the best part is that I don't have to turn the volume way up for the headphones. She can crank them up while I listen at a normal volume. DO IT. MAKE THE INVESTMENT. YOU WILL BE SO GLAD YOU DID.
