Same thing happened to me. I think the canister is now misformed. The bottom of the frozen canister pushed up and it won't lock on the bottom piece correctly. Mine is probably 10 years old at least. I am going to try a new canister.

I emailed the Deni company and they emailed me back the PDF of the manual in one day! www.deni.com . The email address of the person who sent it is [email protected]. I downloaded it and printed it out.

Here is Deni's website. You can get a manual for the 5200 series and if that won't work co to the "contact us" and I'm sure they will get you the manual. Hope this helps.
