i want to restore factory settings on my phone but dont know the lock code for nokai e71...
press the keey on the left side of shift key. it will change the entry into num mode. press 112 and press dial button (green phone button). It will show connecting press end call button. Now the set should be in normal mode.

FORMATTING NOKIA E63
e71 and e63 are almost similar, try this step you might able to do it.
go to menu
find settings
go to settings
in the settings you can find the option
factory default/factory restore/default something like this when you click on it
it will ask you for the password
try 0000
if not then try 12345
and click yes..
wait few min..
here we go noe your phone is as new as it was..
but dont forget to copy all your contacts in the sim card.

The default Security code for Nokia is 12345 unless you have changed it. If you have changed it you will have take it to a repair or service shop where they will be able to retrieve it using a software.

I did go through the process suggested after being asked to provide the PUK code (ie got the proper code from AT&T). When I enter it, I am then asked to "enter new PIN code". I enter a code. Then I'm asked to "verify new PIN code". I enter the same number. Then I'm locked out again, and asked for the PUK code all over again!
Help?!
my phone puk code got locked. i can unlock the puk code but it says enter new pin code. and when i verify it it says code error

I had the same problem but managed to solve it by going to:
Tools>Settings>Connection>Access Points>{choose AP}>Options>Advance Settings>IPv4 Settings
and manually entered the 4 settings of IP addresses.
ip address 192.168.1.11
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.1.1
then exit
then start to browse with this edited access point.

How can I delete the mail for exchange mailbox profile on a nokia e71 phone? The email folder fails to sync but contacts and calendar will.
Found the place to delete the profile under the installed applications folder rather than the Mail for Exchange configuration folder.

how to switch nokia e71 from offline mode to online
I couldn't find the above menu items however i found an alternative: press the on/off button on your E71 and select General. The phone will then ask if you want to change from offline mode and allow network access.

how to change nokia e71 offline mode to online
just click on the switch off button and you can change it to online mode. Offline mode is generally present for in flight operation, also known as IN FLIGHT Mode.
