Hello
Please download Disc Digger HERE.
This is a free tool you can use that works very well and there is no
installation required, just run the program once you downloaded it.
Once
you have connected the memory card to the computer via either the
camera or preferably with a usb card reader , run the program.
On
the program , select the dig deep option for accidentaly deleted files
or dig deeper for a formatted card. Then select the card you want to do
the recovery on and run the program.
The data will be displayed
and you can recover it from there. This will only work if the card has
not been used since the pictures were lost. Since you used the camera after deleting the files , some of them may be lost. Save the files to a location
on the computer hard drive and not back to the memory card as this will
overwrite the other pictures that still needs to be recovered.
Some of the properties of the files may become lost in the recovery but the pictures should be fine.
Feel free to ask if you need more assistance.
Kind Regards

Sanyo S650 lens error 2111
Hello
The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the
probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.
Use
these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.
Firstly ,
try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.
Try holding the
shutter button while switching on the camera.
Look at the lens ,
and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then
try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).
Try gently
pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may
cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.
Another
way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and
then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to
not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and
down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the
camera is enough to get things going again.
Try hitting your
camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of
your hand.
Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair
center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to
replace the camera.
If it is still under warranty I would suggest
you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any
off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about
warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

Hope
the advise is useful. please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any further assistance.

Unable to download pictures to computer
Hello and welcome to FixYa
Please go to a electronics store and buy a USB card reader. I bought one last week and it cost $0.5 so its cheap as dirt. Then simply remove the card from your camera , pop it into the reader and the pictures will appear on a drive like a flashdrive in your my computer folder.
This is a much better option than using the camera's cable as it is faster , safer , saves on your camera battery and you don't need to install any software or drivers.
The card reader will most likely also still be compatible with any new camera you buy in future.
Kind Regards

Card is locked how too fix it
SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.
My lens won't go in and i'm getting error 22
Lens probably does not extend or retract because of debris or a misaligned gear box. The
lens can in about 50% of the cases be repaired without having to replace it. Try to
return to manufacturer first. If you're out of warranty, there are
third party place that fix them such as
camera lens repairs. If you want to do it yourself, there are also free
camera repair guide websites that show you how to replace the lens, the replacement part is usually available on ebay.
Broken Lense
try these:-
- connect it to pc and on it
- vaccum the barrel of lens
- changing mem. card and batt. for 2min.
- shake it.
- on and off in different positions
- hit the part near lens softly with palm (trust me this made mine work)
What kind of sd memory card I should buy for a
Your camera can use an SD memory card up to a maximum capacity of 1GB. It is completely incompatible with later SDHC cards, but will accept the earlier MMC (MultiMedia) card which preceded SD.
1GB SD cards are now getting hard to find in shops, but you can still buy them online quite easily. Stick to major brands, and bear in mind that if the card you choose claims to have any speed advantages over a basic model then your camera is unable to take advantage of those benefits.
You can download a .pdf manual for your camera from Sanyo for free by

I hope that I've helped, please return the favour by taking a moment to rate my answer.

I need the software to plug my camera directly to
If you connect the camera with the lead and turn it on, your computer should just recognise the camera as a storage drive, and you should be able to drag and drop the photo's from it.
If it is not able to do this, try downloading the relevant driver from the manufacturers website.
Lens error 41
does the lens seem stuck, does it not extend or retract properly? Try to unstick the lens by gently pushing it in or pulling it out a little bit. IF that fails, the gears are too misaligned to repair it without opening it.

Sanyo camera repairs
Hi,
This error usually comes due to faulty sliding mechanism.Put a bit of force on the focusing lens to push it back into camera casing. That's the reason the sliding mechanism won't work. The lens is stuck and if you force it back in, the sliding mechanism will work again. Not responsible if your camera screws up, so try at your own risk.
Or else try out this method.Pull the lens fully out and then it will work.It will be bit tricky to get the lens out. Use your nail to "grab" between the outer glass and the little plastic cover.
Thank you !!
I have a laptop without a disk drive, how do I
The best way to transfer pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any other photo cataloging program you might download from the 'net.
