Try disable you antvirus program when you install the software.

check to see if the unit has a usb link cable if not you will need a cable with a plug on both ends similar to the one that a headphone has, plug this from the output on the recorder to the input on the computer (usually pink in color)and then use your favorite media software (too many to list) Good Luck!

Press the DISP/MENU and STOP buttons at the same time for two seconds, which results in ALL the material on the recorder being erased. It will say (FOR) for a few minutes while it is erasing everything, then will work again.
