The problem is with a sensor...

Change the sensor assembly, Part # 6877A30013M from Appliance Factory Parts in Englewood CO, about $30. Easy to change, plugs into control board, remove old temperature probe by pry T-well open with small screwdriver and then crimping back closed when new sensor is installed, about an hour start to finish, hardest part is getting all the covers off. The sensor can also be found at RepairClinic.com for about $18.00 plus shipping. Their internal PN is 1462299. There is a new OEM... PN ending in "R" that replaces the old PN ending in "M".

1. How old the unit is?
2. Do you hear any compressor noise when you turn it on?

could be a couple of things. 1) check & clean your filter. 2) if your electrical plug got wet, it may have shorted out.

if it still runs,but collects no water,its low on refrigerant R-134a this is very common on units 2 to 3 years old,but to get a top off of refrigerant(which is LEGAL) it can be very expensive,I usually just install a bullet piercing valve on the hi and low side and top it off,as this is a cheaper way than pulling it completely down and finding the leak because it most likely will need it again in a year or two

if the temp of the area it is in is not too cold and the coils and filters are clean, then it may have deleloped a leak and lost some of the refrigerant charge. i would clean coils and filters first.

if you can check by an electrical tester then first open control panel and check electric(main electric ) supply is reaching till the selector switch if its reaching supply the try to turn your selector switch on fan mode and check the connecting point of selector switch electric supply is now come on fan supply point ( where motor wire is connected that point ) if its working like this then its mean selector switch is ok and problem in fan motor , its need to replace .

Here's what one person said about the code on webogdery.com:

Unit keeps saying bucket full with nothing in it and it will have a CH 01 code come up on the display. NO reference to it in manual. Call customer NO service and they say to take it to a repair shop 1 1/2 hour drive away. I would not recomend this unit to anyone unless you like to keep buying new ones every year or so.
Not good news, but someone said the unit has a 5 year warranty, so you might check into that.
Another person said check the sensors:
--Shoddy craftsmanship:
1. The sensor that stops the unit when the water reservoir is removed is flimsy, often it does not detect that the reservoir is inserted back, one has to fiddle with the reservoir till the sensor finally "catches on", but then every now and then the mechanism will lock and will be unable to detect that the reservoir is full, resulting in a water spill.

It doesn't seem like anyone has figured out this code, but it has to be a sensor, or bad part, if you can just figure it out.
