have lg w1952tq and is staying in analog power saving mode. any suggestions?
I have a LG flatron wide keeps saying Analog power saving mode and than powers off how do I reset this?

Half upper side is darker than the half lower side.
When I change my viewing angle, in this case higher, it is better but the ratio is still the same, half of the screen is darker.
It sounds like your backlight isn't working properly. LCD screens have backlights that illuminate the colors produced upon their surfaces, so that you can easily see the screen without an external light source. In your case, it sounds like your backlights either aren't cailbrated, are damaged, or were produced unevenly.
There is most likely not a fix for this, though most all LCD screens have some form of light distortion. My own LCD screen is slightly brighter around the edges, where the backlights are located, but this is only noticeable when displaying a completely black screen.

my lg flatron w2234s power keeps turning on and off every 20secs or so. power lead is in fine plug and socket all secure what could be the problem

change all pressing keys..then press menu key 15 seconds for unlocked.

Lg Flatron L226wTQ, beofre I toss this out, was wondering if there is a quick fix. I get no power when I push the button.

This problem is usually caused by a failure in the power supply board which in turn is caused by a failure of the filter capacitors. We have a repair guide article posted on our web site at: http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/lg-l226wtq-bf-monitor-repair/ Check out the article and then open your monitor up and look for the failed capacitors, replace them if found and you should be back going again.

OSD Locked How do I unlock the monitor?
Hold the MENU button for 5 seconds, the 'OSD LOCKED' will appear, to unlock, hold MENU button for 5 seconds, the 'OSD UNLOCKED' will appear. It may not work on ALL LG LCD panels.
Please post back, otherwise check the owner manual.

Subtle Two Toned Split Screen Color Difference.I think I hit some button by accident. Monitor is great but now I have a split screen where the left hand side of the screen has a lighter tint than the right side. The vertical demarcation line is running up and down and obviously it seems to serve some purpose. I just want to get rid of the two tone screen and have it all one color again.
Hi. I have got the same problem, and it was very easy to solve. Monitor was LG. The problem was not in the system, it was in the monitor. I just clicked the buttons on the monitor, it was on the wrong setting that divides monitor in two colors, so if it happens to you, try checking your monitor settings, mine was set to "demonstration", half was lighter than the other one, just set it to usual or user. Keep in mind the settings are on the monitor itself, not in the windows (buttons on the monitor itself) Good luck.

I have a LG 24EN43 monitor. It supports the Dual Smart Solution software. I loaded the software on my pc but it doesn't work! I am running Windows 7. Windows Task Manager shows the dual monitor.exe runing but that's it. Nothing else is happening. I went to the LG support site and my monitor is not really listed. A similar one named 24EN43V-B is listed but it doesn't show a download for any software. Can anyone help me? Thanks!
You do not need the software to run dual monitors. WIndows 7 has this feature built in.

My lg monitor screen is black. It powers on but no picture or light. What could be wrong?
Several things, it could just be turned down real low but most likely it is not getting a signal from the source. What color is the light on the bottom. If it is not green you have an input signal problem.
