JVC Everio GZ-MG360 HDD Camcorder Questions & Answers
What size micro memory card does the JVC Everio GZ MG360 take
The GZ-MG360 takes microSD cards. Make sure you get a microSD card, not a microSDHC card. While a microSDHC card will fit into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work. microSD cards go up to 2GB in size, microSDHC cards start at 4GB and go up.

What video software goes with the jvc everio
The bundled software is the Everio Media Browser by Pixela. It makes it very easy to find video on your camcorder and import it to your computer. Then, it allows you to do basic editing. Finally, the software makes it simple to upload to You Tube, Export to iTunes, or Burn to DVD. You can purchase a replacement at: http://www.jvcservice.com/Store. I however recommend you just use Windows Movie Maker, which is free.

Hi, I think I deleted
You can download a recuperation software, usually I use Recuva which is free and can be found quickly on the net it's from Piriform.
It works well for pictures and video and is easy to use, simply select the drive you want to search for deleted files and lunch it.
Remember that to maximize your chances you shouldn't use the drive you deleted stuff from before trying the software, that will prevent information to be overwriten.

I have a GR_D90 Camcorder-
According to the manual, the GR-D90 works with MMC or SD cards. Your new 16GB card is actually an SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) card. While SDHC cards will fit into an SD slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work. SD cards max out at 2GB in size.

Can I recover files that
YES. You have chance to get those deleted files back provided not overwritten.
First things first: DO NOT take any more videos or pictures with the camcorder(memory card) that you want to recover files from in case you may quite possibly ruin the chances.
Then take the memory card or hard drive out of your cam, and connect it to your computer as it should appear as a "Removable Drive" or put the card in a card reader attached to your PC.
Then install this software Wondershare Photo Recovery (recover videos and audio files too) on your computer. Then start to scan and see if your deleted files can be got back. Get the program from:
For Windows Version
For Mac version
Remember - Do NOT try & write anything back to your camcoder(card or disk) until you can recover your files safely! I hope you good luck!

I have a JVC Everio
Hi,
This is a BAD and COMMON error on this model. You could try to format the hard drive and see,if that works. On most occasions, this error would not even allow you to format HDD.
Some thermistor must be damaged (or a PCB path). It's possible a visual
check would show it only be a connector that got losses inside.
Your data on the HDD might be lost. Usually portable equipment have a 0
gravity detector that park the magnetic heads when a fall is detected
to protect the HDD platters, but it don't work every time.
If all look fine, the camera will have to be serviced by JVC.As it is under warranty, it would be repaired/replaced without any charge by JVC.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Also, check the camcorder for compartibilty with computer sysems. For example, cameras would usually specify the functionalty features where it is possibe connect digital cameras with computers and not camcorder expected to functions separate entities. Refer to the camcorders user guide to ascertain details contributing towards acquirng user experinces.
