gee all pre 2010 PCs did that and are now in the land fill ccfl run 20k hours and die even only 5 years old 2009 PC, just 1 year tool old. PC has inverter card for CCFL it takes low DC power and makes 600vdc to run the CCFL tubes. 99 out of 100 tube are bad. simple as that. and common as nails on relic PC like this and same years, monitors but you sure can connect a monitor good or projector to the PC and run like this .endlessly or until both batteries died. soon.

Hello, Sounds like you either have a spybot or virus. When you power up your laptop immediately start hitting the f8 and go into the safe mode and check for viruses.
